Q: Does the jaw lock into place like the Allosaurus, or is it free-range like the Giganotosaurus figure?

A: The upper and lower jaw lock in place. I would also be careful when opening the mouth since it is prone to getting caught on the inner mouth pieces if you don’t push them right.

A: Unfortunately it doesn't in the preview images, but this might be just the prototype as it still has two months to release, and it may change upon further production!

The item is great! Target online on the other hand is scalping this item for over $100 dollars when the original price is $65 in stores. This is a target exclusive so the only place you could ever buy this at retail is through target. For some reason this billion dollar corporation feels it necessary to price gouge their customers because resellers have inflated the price. This is a terrible business practice from what I thought was a respectable company! They should be ashamed of themselves!

Beautiful figure, amazing articulation, the glass eye is an amazing addition. This is the massive Spinosaurus toy I've always dreamed of as a kid. Some minor paint issues on mine, but honestly, the figure overall is so good, that I can't really bring myself to care that much.

This figure is if not the most anticipated figure of all Jurassic Franchise fans or maybe Dinosaur fans in general. Glad that Mattel finally made this figure came true, and I must say that it's absolutely incredible. Even tho... The sail lack of the blue coloration, but it's not a big deal. I tried to paint the sail and I'm quite satisfied with the result, even if it's not screen accurate tho.

Horrible quality. The minute we unboxed it, a foot fell off. Days later an arm is falling off. This was a birthday gift for my 8 year old and it is a huge disappointment. This was an expensive purchase and not worth it. My child wanted this for long time and he is very frustrated with things falling off all of the time.

Absolutely gorgeous figure, the Hammond collection spinosaurus is unarguably the best dinosaur in this line for toy photography. My favorite shots to take of it are during storm in the rain to recreate scenes from the movie Jurassic Park 3. It has amazing details and life like eyes. This is definitely one to have in your collection

Overall a great figure, looks amazing, but my only gripe is that for the price I’m paying you would think the quality control would be better. I tried posing my spino in an attack position but his mouth doesn’t open/close without excessive force to the point im afraid of breaking it. I’ve decided to just leave him it alone out of fear of breaking his jaw.

This toy is amazing, but there are a LOT of issues. It’s the fact that it’s SO FRAGILE. I put into many poses and not only did the neck break, but also the jaw. The durability on this thing is actual garbage, I love the spinosaurus from the movies, but this toy was such a disappointment quality wise. I literally opened its mouth, thought the bottom part was closed, lightly pushed on it, and it just snapped.

I've been eyeing and trying to get my hands on this figure for a while; yet target has been the complete opposite of helpful; with many people reporting that they were in the stores yet the website wasnt updated; and I got my order in just for it to automatically be canceled; with no chance of me to be able to purchase again before it sold out; leaving me with no chance of purchasing this figure.
