Disgusting
This is so gross. Has absolutely no flavor, and is mostly spinach that tastes like it came out of a can and undercooked white beans. You’ll be lucky if you get more than 5 ravioli, which are filled with more or less one sliced mushroom that has a rubbery texture. The thing also takes at least 15min to cook down after microwaving. The fact that they’re charging almost $6 for this is criminal.

Bland and bitter
I love most of the Purple Carrot meals, but this one didn’t do it for me. The dish is very bland without much flavor. It’s bitter and the sauce is kind of watery, making for a mushy meal. I know the beans are there for protein, but they felt like a random afterthought. I added some nutritional yeast and spices to give the bowl more life, but it still wasn’t filling or satisfying.

The ravioli is bland, but the flavors from the sauce, beans, and spinach don't blend well and the meal tastes just awful.
I never leave reviews, but this tasted SO bad that I felt compelled to. After a few bites, I just threw the rest in the garbage. I usually love mushroom ravioli so I was really disappointed. As expensive as groceries are these days (thanks trump), I’m hoping this review will save other customers money.

I’m a big fan of the frozen Purple Carrot meals but this one… is not it. One of the best things about this company is their ability to make vegan dishes with both plant forward ingredients AND good taste. This one was just… bland. And unfortunately the ravioli filling was just not good. I’ll be sticking with the other Purple Carrot offerings.

Bland with some bitterness.
I enjoy all the other Purple Carrot frozen meals I’ve tried. This was huge disappointment. It was bitter, no other flavor. I only finished it because I had a long, tiring day and didn’t have another option for a quick dinner.
