This doesn’t even smell like beef. It smells more like pork. The taste is rubbery and the gravy tastes like glue. The string beans and mashed potatoes are just ok. Trying to eat this made me almost throw up. My cats wouldn’t even go near it.

The Salisbury steak in this looks like someone dug out the insides of a chicken patty, kept the breading and put a hamburger patty inside of the breading and then covered it in sauce and potatoes so you wouldnt notice what they did. Absolutely vile, even in the airfyer.

I purchased the Country Fried Steak meal, reminded me of what I often cooked. WELL this meal is the worst and will not buy this again. I was not able to cut it with a sharp steak knife. The potatoes and beans were terrible and hard to recognize what the potatoes were. I ended up putting all of it in the trash. Don't buy this meal. Even the taste is questionable!

Was happy to try this since I love Dolly. Tried the Chick fried steak. Really terrible. Cooked in the oven so it wouldn’t have a micro wave tough. Can say nothing good about it. Waste of money..

Not good. Salty, extremely processed. I’m surprised TARGET is carrying an item like this. I normally wouldn’t have tried it but because it was from Target I gave it a try. Going to return it for a refund.

Green beans were very dry. Meat sitting on potatoes. What little gravy there was was either piled in corner of compartment and dried up from cooking. Very little gravy on patty itself. Only a small amount on one corner.

I purchased two of your frozen foods. The COUNTRY FRIED STEAK and CHICKEN and DUMPLINGS. They both left a lot to be desired. In my opinion they were tasteless and blah. The sodium content etc etc was high. Would not recommend. Sorry, but had to give a honest review.

I’m not too picky & I rarely ever throw away food. This went straight in the garbage. The “steak” tasted old & gristly. The breading didn’t stick to it, it all fell off into the few spoonfuls of mashed potatoes you get. Potatoes taste like grainy cardboard. I loved her pot roast frozen dinner, but this one is a big MISS. Save your money.

I ate this tonight. The potatoes were good, the green beans could have been cooked a little more, but the meat was terrible. Tough, stringy, I couldn’t finish it. Overpriced for the amount you get. I won’t be buying this again. I’m a big fan of Dolly so I’m really disappointed.

I was curious to try this. I should have read the reviews first. The steak portion is dried up and not chewable. The breading falls off as soon as you try to flip the steak. I followed directions exactly, but this was disgusting.

The coating on the meat fell off when I turned it & part of the potatoes were under the meat. The beans tasted good, but were dry. Suggest putting into 3 separate places instead of 2.

I bought the country fried steak dinner for lunch this week. I think the steak and mask potatoes should be separated. The steak tasted more like a Salisbury steak and it was a little tough. The breading need to be reevaluated, it falls off the steak and it is just orange mush. The mash potatoes were ok after adding some salt and pepper. The green beans and bacon needs some seasoning. I will not be buying the Country fried steak again.

I tried the chicken fried steak for lunch today. I could not even finish it, the taste was so awful. No flavor with the green beans. The chicken fried steak coating was mushy and the steak tough to chew. The mash potatoes tasted terrible. I had to throw it away. A big waste of money. I’ve made a lot of Dolly’s recipes and they all have tasted wonderful. This is one of the worst frozen dinners I have ever eaten.
