[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try these Over & Back dinner bowls- my friend recently got a set of dinner bowls and upon moving they were on my wish list. The design of the bowl is perfect for that in between food where you are not sure if a bowl or plate is better (like pasta!). I loved the description that came in the package which explains where the name came from. These are heavyweight enough to feel fancy, durable, a bit modern, AND dishwasher/microwave safe is always a win in my book. I am considering buying the whole set and getting rid of my very old dinnerware set.

They’re not dinner plate sized but a big bigger than a salad plate. They held up in the dishwasher and haven’t been scratched by silverware as of yet.

I hand washed these and also ran them through the dishwasher and they came out great. I used a fork on them while i ate a salad and didnt get one scratch or paint chip. I like that they are more open so you can use them for more things than a typical bowl. The black color gives off a really modern feel too.

They aren’t super heavy but also not too light. They feel and look like high quality. The black color makes food look super elegant like I’m eating at a fancy restaurant in my own home. The bowls are a hybrid bowl/plate, like a plate with curved higher edges. They fit a large amount of food and are perfect for the times where you may want to use a bowl to keep better control of your food and not lose it off the edge of the plate but you also want a larger area to hold more food without it being too compact. I absolutely love these dinner bowls and would definitely recommend them to everyone!!
