I’ve also used it in sandwiches and wrapped around veggies, and it always adds that perfect savory touch. It does shrink a bit when cooked, but that’s pretty normal. Overall, it’s great quality bacon that I keep going back to.

You definitely want to taste the bacon, so it needs to thick cut, but it should not be too smokey or salty and ruin the balance of fresh tomato and lettuce. So I was eager to try this Farmer Jonh’s Thick Cut Bacon in exchange for my honest review. The bacon was indeed thick cut, but not remarkably so. I also liked how meaty it was. Definitely looked like a premium bacon. It cooked up well, crisped up nicely. But better than that, it was not too smokey or salty. It was a great addition to my BLT and I do recommend.
