Q: what is the lid made of? it says polypropylene, but is the gasket silicone? Does it have stainless steel on the bottom of the cover?

A: The lid on the Bink 27oz Day Water Bottle is made of polypropylene and the sleeve around the glass is made of silicone. There is no stainless steel used in the product at all.

Q: How do you wash this? Are you supposed to take the silicone sleeve off?

A: The Bink 27oz Day Bottle is dishwasher safe, and you do not need to remove the silicone sleeve for washing.

Cute water bottle but squeaks loudly when opened and condensation builds all around the bottle when it gets cold. I wish I could return it as this was not what I was looking for.
