They fit perfectly on his tiny hands. The grip on these things is insane. He can pick up screwdriver without closing his hand. I got him the L/XL this time around for when his hands grow into it. For the same reason, hands do not sweat excessively in hot weather. For better grip with the ball, there is a different coating on the inside of the palm. They are also effective in wet weather. The glove is tightly attached to the wrist thanks to the Velcro strap. The elastic cuff is not very wide, but it performs some protective function. It fits perfectly on a child's hand.
