DohKins Single Pack Character - Dough Never Dries

This dough is true to its word never dries out, but it makes a huge mess. Everyday I have to add flour to it because it gets so sticky it does not come off of things. I love the concept and the storage/play containers are so cute. I do not recommend for sensory seeking kids like mine because after 10 minutes of continuous play it gets warm and sticky and is almost like playing with bisquick.

I love that this isn’t messy like kinetic sand but also doesn’t dry out like play dough since my daughter never remembers to put hers away. The scent wasn’t overpowering but also not really necessary. The package was easy enough to open and it is fun that it comes in a character. Would purchase these again for my kids.

The color never fades, and the texture/consistency remains the same. We were able to use different mold to fit the dough. The "police" mold was pretty amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the idea of the DohKins never dry dough. At first, I loved the product. It was a great consistency, not sticky at all. Felt like regular playdoh. As the days went on, it got sticky and stickier. We had to throw it away because it was sticking to everything and making a blue mess. It does NOT come out of carpet because it never dries. Sticks horrible to hands. Smells good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was honestly surprised how much my son loved this. It smells just like chocolate and he never puts it away and hasn’t dried in the slightest. The little container to put it in is kind of silly to me and adding the little eyes just seems like excessive pieces to keep track of especially when it doesn’t fit in the little plastic container. But overall a quick distraction for your kid for awhile. He’s been playing with it for days hasn’t dried and also still smells just like chocolate and doesn’t make your hands overly smell like it like some slimes do.

The consistency is a mix of slime and play dough. It has no smell and it’s just fun to squish and mold. My son loved this and I will definitely be buying more of this to keep in the house and randomly surprise him with them.

One thing that I would suggest that needs to be adjusted is the hat that is easily breakable when inserting through the holes. Other than that, we enjoy having this little police officer in our home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this dohkins playdoh that never dries. The package is adorable and the color of the dough was cute. It did smell like chocolate. The reason I'm giving it 2 stars is that is stained my grandsons brand new shirt he was wearing. It feels like a mixture of slime and playdoh. It was hard to mold. When using the officer mold that came with it you could not even tell what it was. It is something I will not purchase again. I am big into arts and crafts with the kids, plus sensory activities. I love trying new things with them to let their minds explore but this one is going to be a no go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Dohkins Police Set for my son, and I honestly didn’t expect it to be such a hit.. but it totally was! The doh itself claims it never dries, and so far, that’s been true. Even though our indoor humidity was just around 30% (well below the recommended 40–80% range), the doh still felt soft and super moldable to touch. My son had hours of non-stop play.. molding, shaping, and cutting the play doh. He especially loved the police figure that came with the set. It has removable eye pieces and a hat, which added a whole layer of pretend play to the fun. Watching him turn it into a full-blown storytelling session was honestly the highlight of my day! One thing I appreciated as a mom of a child with multiple allergies: the doh is gluten-free. That made me feel much more comfortable letting him play freely. It is strongly scented — something my son actually liked — but I was initially a little cautious. Thankfully, he had no reaction and did just fine with it. So it is definitely value for money. The packaging could have been a little less hassle. Definitely use the scissors to open it faster. Lol. This set turned out to be a total win for us.. sensory play, imagination, and safe ingredients all rolled into one. I would highly recommend it. Makes for a great gift as well.

I can’t tell it’s is a slime or play dough or like a hybrid. Hasn’t dried out which is great. I feel like it does not attach dirt and hair like other slime type products. My 4 year old loves it. It does stain a bit but not bad. I may be buying more for my son.

My 3 year old stepson has declared it the Official Dough of Playtime. It’s soft, pliable, and refuses to crumble under the pressure just like he does when someone touches his snack. This dough holds up to intense squishing, imaginative policing, and occasional dramatic reenactments featuring velociraptors and juice spills. Easy to mold, easier to love, this is a must have for any household running on little feet and big imaginations.

I had to tell him a few times just because it smells good doesn’t make it food 🤪😬 but other than that I love that it literally doesn’t dry out! And it kept my 3 year old occupied for quite a while!
