Frigidaire Portable Neck Cooling Fan - Black

I was worried this neck fan would be a little heavy on my neck, but it wasn't heavy at all. In fact, it was lightweight enough to not really notice it much. The air flow settings were great and very much a relief in the heat. It's easy to charge and not very noisy, nice even sound.

Only flaw is it rests on neck next to ears. So at high speed it's a bit noisy.

It works decently for the price, good for guys who work outside in the summer or for any outside activities. It does make it a little hard to hear others with a fan next to your ears, but its not too bad.

Power level indicator led . Easy to find on off speed switch . Only hiccup add says 5 watts fan power but box says 3 . Other wise really nice product .

I've used this fan every workday for a few months now and it lasts a decent amount of time and is powerful enough to provide good cooling. My only issue thus far is that after plugging it in nightly the charging port seems to have loosened up; the actual plug itself is much tougher to plug in now and is prone to falling out of the port even once I get it in. It seems to still be charging fine but I don't know how long it'll last. If you're not planning on using it daily though it shouldn't be any issue.

I got these for my husband back in June and he works outside in the heat. These things work great! I used them once and they are light fitting, have adjustable speeds and nice colors also. I'm going to order this for myself too. Great value.

Listen. Women who have hot flashes will understand.It drives me nuts when I do my makeup (and I'm not talking a lot; powder foundation, blush, mascara and gloss) and before I'm even done there are beads of sweat on my forehead. It's so discouraging. Half the time I don't even put on makeup because I can't be bothered.This little device is a game changer for those of us who suffer in sisterhood.A side benefit is when I've painted my nails, I no longer have to blow on them. I just hold them next to my neck and allow my fan to do the work.I admit, I feel a little old and haven't been out and about with it yet. But it honestly looks like a pair of pretty white headphones, so unless someone is close enough to hear it, I don't think it really sticks out that much.I am a pedestrian (no need for a car; live in a walkable city) and every now and again take the bus. If I were sitting directly next to someone, on the lowest setting no one would really notice much. But on the 2nd and 3rd setting, it's a bit loud. But you know what? I DON'T CARE! I've dabbed my face with paper towels so much that if this can reduce those instances, that's just the way it is 🤣The only thing one might be concerned with is the inflexibility of this fan. It has very little give so you have to be careful putting in on and taking off. Not that it seems tooooooo delicate. It's just not very flexible and that surprised me a bit.I have it on right now and it's just such a relief. My bff of 40 years AND my mail lady both told me about it when I was complaining about being uncomfortably hot (even on cool days) and they were right. I can't see myself being without this fan any time soon.I've set a reminder for myself already to return after a few weeks to update on battery duration. Also, I'm interested to find out how it affects sound quality when I'm talking on the phone with my earbuds in. Will the fan that close muffle the sound? Stay tuned. Today is September 27 2024. I've set my reminder to update this review October 27 2024 to give me enough time to live with it. But regardless; if I have to turn it off for the rare phone call I have, that's a small price to pay for the comfort the other hours of the day and night.

Very nice quality fan. Lots of vents provide great flow of cool air. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my top priority. I needed it to blow upward toward my eyes to repel gnats while I do yard work. I had to return it to get one that I could direct the position of the round fans at each end to blow up toward my eyes where gnats love to hover.
