Description
A modern curtain rod with a sophisticated touch, Blok is a 1” (2.5 cm) diameter adjustable curtain rod with a gunmetal finish and wooden cylindrical finials. Available in two sizes; 36-72 inches (91 - 183 cm) and 72-144" (183 - 366 cm), Blok can fit a variety of window sizes. Made of steel, supporting a maximum weight of 22 lbs (10 kg), this curtain rod is durable and long-lasting. Installation is super simple. Rod comes with brackets, metal screws, plastic screw anchors and assembly instructions. Blok curtain rod set can be used with grommet, back-tab, rod pocket and tab-top curtains. This curtain rod is made with an eco-friendlier finish. It produces 85% less water and solid waste than traditional electroplating finishes. *Note: 36-72" include 2 telescoping rods, all others include 3 telescoping rods

Umbra Blok 1" Rod Gun Metal Review
The pictures on Umbra's website show this curtain rod being supplied with adjustable brackets. Target's pictures are the same ones from Umbra's website. The hardware set DOES NOT come with adjustable brackets. I contacted Umbra and they confirmed that the brackets are not adjustable. This is the main reason I bought this curtain rod. I suggested they edit their photos, which they admitted were dated and not accurate. BTW....Target ships this via FedEx and the first delivery the box was ripped open, missing all hardware, and the rods were damaged. Replacement rod the box was also damaged, but everything was intact.

Gunmetal Grey: great alternative to silver/black
The Blok Curtain Rod fits perfectly in my colour-drenched "snug" (it's a bedroom turned tv room). Three walls, the ceiling, the woodwork, and the closet are all painted in Plum Martini (Benny Moore), while the fourth wall is clad in Artika's wood panels. Hence the Blok curtain rod, as the wood finials are the perfect finishing touch. The gunmetal colour doesn't stand out, and it adds another reflective surface. In a room as dark as this one, metal and glass are a good choice for the finshing touches.

Beautifully Handcrafted
Very bold and pronounced with looking too much so with our smaller and thinner curtains. The perfect thickness for every curtain length and width. Beautifully crafted and the curtains easily slide past where the extension and the main rods meet. The brackets are beautiful and thick and look fantastic. Even the screws are really robust and with the correct bit and leverage don’t strip easily. Stop trying to screw the screws in without a step stool or ladder and make sure you drill the correct pilot hole for the anchors and never, EVER drive these screws into these anchor types in with a drill. Always use a screwdriver and if you only have a drill screw them in very slowly and straight and never over tighten.

Beautiful
I love this curtain rod, it looks far more expensive than the price. The wood grain is quite nice. It is a gunmetal, so may not work in every room vs a standard black, but I quite like it. Fairly easy to assemble and install but definitely better with two people. Instructions could be more detailed

I bought this rod a few months ago and thought it was absolutely perfect for my room. It is beautiful and looks like leather on the ends, unique looking and .very classy!!! I wanted a natural look for my son so I have thermal curtain underneath a white curtain with outlines of trees, very simplistic and beautiful!

Clean Design
