About this item
Highlights
- Designed to reflect the world kids see today, this diverse line of Barbie Fashionistas dolls showcases bright and trendy styles that inspire endless storytelling possibilities
- Meet the first Autistic Barbie doll! Barbie partnered with the Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN) to design a doll that represents and celebrates this community
- Barbie doll wears a lavender and white pinstriped dress with a relaxed, comfortable fit. The ruffle hem adds an extra pop of personality to her look!
- As autism can impact fine motor skills, she wears her hair in a loose style accented by noise-canceling headphones. More than just an accessory, they help relax her when she’s sensitive to stimuli!
- She comes with a fidget spinner that really works, too. From hanging with friends to having a picnic in the park or going to the movies, she loves having the spinner handy when she’s out and about!
- Flexible joints at the elbows and wrists allow her hands to move freely so kids can play out stimming movements with the doll. She also wears flat, purple shoes for extra stability and style!
- This Autistic Barbie doll comes with an Augmentative and Alternative Communication tablet -- a tool that helps her express herself in ways other than talking!
- Kids 3 years and up can collect other Barbie Fashionistas dolls for even more fun with friends and fashion at playtime!

I love Barbie and how this doll drives inclusion, representation, and awareness. I love that she has flexible wrists, elbows, and arms to support stimming, and comes with three accessories—an AAC device, headphones, and a fidget toy. It’s a powerful way to highlight just a few things that could benefit some people on the spectrum. Most importantly, it encourages conversation, acceptance, and curiosity about the many ways Autism can show up—or not be noticeable—because everyone is different.

She Looks Just Like My Daughter!
I absolutely love this Barbie. She looks so much like my daughter, and seeing that representation honestly made my heart so happy. My child felt seen and excited in a way I haven’t experienced with toys before. Thank you for creating a Barbie that celebrates differences and helps kids feel proud of who they are. This one truly means a lot to our family. 💜

Validating
This doll can represent all of the girls or women with autism that were never seen or diagnosed. It can be on a shelf as validation that we exist not necessarily just to play with. It can teach other children that differences exist and open up conversation for devices that help with communication for those who are non-verbal. I love that Mattel is creating a line of dolls for those individuals or for others to be aware. In a world where everyone with those differences are told to be silent. It’s dolls that represent being seen, even when conditions are invisible. My daughter and I have autism and the only way you would maybe know is stimming or headphones. This is very validating to both of us.
