[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My two daughters loved receiving the singing Moana doll. To get Moana to sing there is a button on the chest under the shirt. But it can be pushed through the shirt. Despite the ability to push through the shirt my daughters went to immediately taking clothes off. They like her hair and how long it is so they can play with it by brushing it and putting in mini rubberbands as a bun or pony tail. They were confused at first of how to get Moana to hold the oar but with some trial and error and telling them how oars are used they figured it out. If it did not have singing, it probably wouldn't hold their attention for that long but because they love Moana's songs, they play it constantly.

If you have a love for the original movie and the live action you will appreciate the details as i have. My daughter loves Moana and the fact that it sings just put it over the top for her. The sound quality is pretty good for a doll of its size very collectible worthy as well. Movement is easily done with the dolls limbs and storing the doll in the package is what my daughter loves to do she loved the back drop on the inner side of the packaging so she pretends she is on Moana’s island.

She loves pressing the button to hear the song clip and singing along with it. The long, wavy hair was a big draw too — though in a funny twist, she decided to use the oar as a hairbrush instead of her hands! Everything about the doll worked well right out of the box, from the singing feature to the removable outfit and necklace accessory. A fun, high-quality doll that's held her attention well. This is basically the worst looking doll I’ve seen 😒 …facial proportions are so wrong from the elongated face, to the long pointy nose, the exaggerated features which are in no way proportioned and the list can go on 🙄. This is horrible representation for Polynesian people, and of the beautiful Samoan who portrayed Moana.

Doll is good quality. She is very light weight and she is a beautiful doll to have from Mattel that is from a Live Action Disney Movie.
