Mattel Disney Moana Singing Fashion Doll Sings “How Far I’ll Go” Inspired by Live Action Movie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very pretty Moana doll with a great outfit and great accessories. It’s extra fun that Moana sings, the only drawback is that the singing clip is so short! Wish there were options for a longer song or clips from different songs.

The doll is well made, though I don’t feel that her face is that accurate to the live action movie actress. She’s enjoyed playing with Moana and Maui together, taking them on adventures on the ocean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is a huge fan of Moana. She has a ton of Moana toys and was so excited to have a new doll that is different than the rest of collection. She loved the new live action movie and this was the perfect toy for her imagination at home.

Her outfit is perfect and the paddle accessory that comes with it has a place to slide her hand through for her and to carry it around. There’s a button on her tummy which sings the song “How Far it Goes” version from the Live Action Moana movie. My one criticism is that it doesn’t have a stand for her to be able to stand up, but besides that it’s a great purchase for Moana fans!

Her necklace is cute but wish it resembled her necklace more than how it looks. Moana’s oar matches how it is in the movie! Having Moana and Maui together is great! They can save the day together! My daughter says 5 out of 5 stars!

When I opened it I was impressed by the detail that both the doll and the accessories had on them. Good quality material. I find and pushed the button to hear the song that she sings and found it to be very clear and nice sounding. We had a lot of fun reenacting scenes from the movie and trying out the accessories that came with her. My impression overall is very good. Worth buying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moana, love her! The doll does not look like the girl but still fun, she has nice soft wavy hair, with the necklace. Its just blue and does not open. She comes with the paddle with the doodles that maui did with the chicken on the one side.the pattern on her skirt is not as vibrant as Mauis. She stands tall and upright by herself as well so that was fun but her arms to not have joints like Mauis doll so that was interesting. I wish she came with her chicken or pig friend for play. But cute doll for play! We have not seen the new movie yet sadly. But I am excited for when it comes out to have our dolls right there with us!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute Barbie-like doll based on the new Moana movie. Beware- it sings! If musical toys are not your thing, pick a different Moana. If you don’t mind that, then this is great and it captivated four year old for hours!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My two daughters loved receiving the singing Moana doll. To get Moana to sing there is a button on the chest under the shirt. But it can be pushed through the shirt. Despite the ability to push through the shirt my daughters went to immediately taking clothes off. They like her hair and how long it is so they can play with it by brushing it and putting in mini rubberbands as a bun or pony tail. They were confused at first of how to get Moana to hold the oar but with some trial and error and telling them how oars are used they figured it out. If it did not have singing, it probably wouldn't hold their attention for that long but because they love Moana's songs, they play it constantly.

If you have a love for the original movie and the live action you will appreciate the details as i have. My daughter loves Moana and the fact that it sings just put it over the top for her. The sound quality is pretty good for a doll of its size very collectible worthy as well. Movement is easily done with the dolls limbs and storing the doll in the package is what my daughter loves to do she loved the back drop on the inner side of the packaging so she pretends she is on Moana’s island.

She loves pressing the button to hear the song clip and singing along with it. The long, wavy hair was a big draw too — though in a funny twist, she decided to use the oar as a hairbrush instead of her hands! Everything about the doll worked well right out of the box, from the singing feature to the removable outfit and necklace accessory. A fun, high-quality doll that's held her attention well. Easy 10/10 from us.

My daughter loves this song and cannot stop playing the song while she plays. While it would have been nice to come with a few more accessories or friends, it is still a great doll!
