Not a good one
Thin sides and bottom, the bottom of the first floor is not solid so catnip just ends up on the floor. The instructions for mine were also for a completely different version.

Pass
please don't buy this! pick anything else. the assembly direction are not the clearest and the cardboard is not that strong. so if you happen to have a big fur kitty don't do it! cool idea just needs to be stronger. directions also say don't let your cat jump on the roof.

Kitten likes
It is cardboard and it looks flimsy but at the end of the day it’s a toy for cats, they’re gonna destroy it. My kitten loves sleeping and hiding in there.

Cats like to use it. Hard to tell by their judgey looks what they actually think about it.

They should have left well enough alone
There's no sense in simplifying the assembly if it means it'll fall apart easier. The Snack Shack design was much more durable than this one. A 10-12 pound cat jumping onto the 2nd story should not cave it in. I'm not buying a 3rd. I'll wait for the next design. Or maybe I'll just build one from wood and throw a plain scratcher into both levels.

Incorrect Instructions
I bought this after reading the reviews and thinking, “how hard can it be?” It’s tough. Especially when the instructions are for a cat scratcher van and not a fruit stand. Crazy. Thought maybe a simple search online would lead me to a pdf instruction manual…. Wrong. Probably gonna take this one back.

If I could give this a Zero star I would. This is by the worst cat scratcher I have gotten. The instructions were not great. For it costing $20 I would expect a better quality. Unfortunate that I am unable to return this now :/

Cute
Cute, not overly hard to put together. Top level walls are a bit flimsy. My rabbits seem to like it.

Cat fruit stand open for business!
Gave it 4 stars as it was difficult to assemble but I used someone’s review to help with the third step. Doesn’t seem to be as sturdy as some of their other cardboard houses, but I have large cats. My cats love the 2 layers, and use it all the time!

DO NOT BUY!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Target I want my $20 back! It's so hard to put together and the tabs don't stay together. A lot of it ripped while I was trying to even put it together Nothing aligns. It looks so cheap in person.

Cat Scratcher and Fruit Stand
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fruit stand has 2 levels of cat scratchers. The bottom has 2 doors for entry and exit. The assembly was easy, but the instructions could have been better. The fruit stand is made out of cardboard, and should last awhile. Our cats have been enjoying both levels. Colorful display and cat scratching in a designated place is a bonus.

Best thing for multiple cats
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a multi-cat household so finding toys that work for all of them is really hard! I love that this had multiple levels so that all of my cats could play together. It was really easy and straightforward to put together, but the sides are really delicate so I wish I had taken better care when putting it together. Overall it is a really great product and has held up really well to their scratching!

Pay Heed To Other Reviwers Comments/Videos About Proper Asssembly!
Originally bought one for my two cats. Silly me. I should have known that they’d end up throwing paws over who gets to sit on the second story of this adorable little Bodega. Unfortunately, as many noted, the top floor was flimsy & sagged under the weight of my biggest Chonk. Little Chonk took ownership of the 2nd floor when all was said and done, solely based on the fact that it didn’t collapse under his weight when he perched up there to sell his produce. Wanting to avoid an occupational hazard on account of big Chonk, I went ahead and took out another loan for a 2nd Bodega. This time, I took note of the advice of other reviewers, and put the building together properly. Lo & Behold, it’s sturdy enough for my super-sized tabby, and now both cats are happy…for now.

Good cat house for multiple cats
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this since I wanted to leave a scratching post out where more than one cat could claim it for themselves. I have multiple cats and when one is on the top row the other one can choose to sit underneath. I thought that it might entertain them as well as serve as a place to scratch their nails. Seems well made enough to withstand the cats weight

Your cats will love this
I’m giving this 4 stars only because the instructions aren’t very straightforward, though it is definitely doable. I messed up the first time I assembled it but was able to fix it afterwards! I bought this for my cat during his final week of life, and he absolutely loved it. He spent most of his time resting on it and would cuddle with his sibling—sometimes one on top and one underneath, or both sharing the same level. I recently purchased a second one for my current cat because the original became worn after being used during a very difficult time with her sibling’s illness. She’s very attached to it because it still carries his scent. I’m hoping that over time she’ll grow to love the new one just as much

Cute and sturdy when put together correctly
I almost didn’t get this after reading the reviews, but there was a really good sale so it was too hard to pass up. I don’t write too many reviews but I feel like I need to provide my POV to offset the bad reviews! First off, it is super cute! And honestly, well worth the $16 even if it was not on sale. With the double layers it’s like 2 for 1. Secondly, I started putting this together incorrectly myself and was initially regretful for not listening to the reviews. Albeit the instructions are not the best, but when I took the time to do it slowly and carefully look at the pictures everything finally just clicked and they all made sense. Lastly, if you put it together correctly, this thing is sturdy! My cat is about 14lbs. No tape needed like others mentioned. Everything has stayed intact, even the roof which has only small tabs in the corners to keep in place. No buckling of the upper floor. It is really well-designed visually and architecturally. It took some finessing to get the upper level attached and it is not intuitive how you need to put in on. Judging by some of the other reviews and photos, some people just did not put it together correctly. Don’t let their reviews scare you!

Love two stories, difficult to assemble
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This two story cat scratcher is a decent purchase, certainly not my favorite though. First, the instructions are awful and it’s quite challenging to assemble. The second floor is a pain to attach, and I had to use tape to keep it from falling off. Each time the cats jumped up the top walls would wobble out of place. It’s not super high quality, so don’t expect a palace, but my cats seem to like it.
