Bought this to replace a smaller one from meijer that was also $20. Sturdier than others that my cat has gone through. He likes to bite at the sides and he has plenty of area to do so. I like that there are two layers so he can play more on/around it. Took to it even before i was finished building it. Great quality/durability for the price point. Out classes others that ive had before for the same price. Expecting it to last at least a year. My cat is in the 10-15lb range and theres no issue with him being in the top section.

I held off of buying this for a couple of months because of the reviews saying it was a nightmare to put together & was flimsy. This was the most straightforward cat scratcher I've put together and I've had many in the past. It's also very durable & the platform they provide beneath the 2nd story helps a lot with structure support. God speed to those having difficulty with putting this together when a toddler could do it with their eyes closed.

A total steal & cat's favorite!
This is one of the best corrugated scratchers we have had and for an amazing price! The cats chase eachother up and down it plus they like to just lounge in it! I look forward to seeing what other ones they have because it has held up very well! Even with my toddler tornado always moving it around. Highly recommend! Sure it took some time to put it together and figure out the instructions but it would NOT deter me from buying it again or suggesting it to others!!

My cat is officially the proud owner of her very own fruit stand, and business is booming. 🍓🍊 She's a 12 pound entrepreneur who has no problem hopping onto the top shelf to supervise her customers, but most of the time you'll find the CEO tucked away in the lower compartment "managing inventory" from her cozy office. The stand was also super easy to put together. I somehow assembled it without even looking at the instructions! It's sturdy, adorable, and definitely cat approved. pieces don't fit together, instructions might as well be a fairy tale, caviar is flimsy and it's expensive for how terrible of a product it is. how does the white piece stay on in the middle?! ugh.

I don’t normally write reviews but this was the most obnoxious thing to put together, the pieces do not fit and the instructions were awful. This is not cute enough to be this much trouble. Also the pieces that don’t fit that you have to manhandle to get to fit together are flimsy.

cute but be prepared
building this thing tested my patience in ways i was not prepared for. the pieces don't really fit together correctly + directions make no sense. i used a lot of duct tape. it seems semi durable now and the design is cute but i am not confident it will last very long ... also there isn't a solid bottom so once they scratch it gets all over the floor underneath - it would be more worth it if it were $10

It's a bunch of cardboard, so not exactly expecting the Taj Mahal. This score is based on the truly abominable "directions", combined with the fact that the box it comes in has three of the EXACT SAME PICTURE the item, so you can't even infer how it should be done.
