Starburst Tropical Mini Grab And Go Candies - 7.2oz

These are pretty good actually, not super expensive for some travel friendly candy! Lots of candy in the bag and resealable which is huge! Upon first taste, it was a little waxy but honestly after a piece or two I didn’t notice! It was delicious, the tropical flavors are the perfect balance between sweet and sour and they are addicting!!

The strawberry kiwi flavor tastes funky.

Definitely not the same flavor as the ones that use to be in the pack and wrapped. These taste awful I’m not sure why they needed to change the original recipe

To me, these have a more chewers wax feel that don't have the same bold flavor as the regular size. They're ok and cheap and a fun pop in your mouth on the go size but definitely not the same. They don't really even have much of an aftertaste. They're definitely lacking the flavor. I love the little squares and bite sized pieces and they are a cheaper candy for the bag but I don't think I will buy these again. The flavor options are great and sound super good but just disappointed. The bag is durable and it does have a zip lock top to save for later.

Tastes like straight up plastic. Texture and flavor is no where near like regular starburst.

These aren't bad but I was so excited to hear they were coming back but they are just not the same and the flavors are different. Where are the original flavors? I'm sad and need the original.

I just bought them today, Im excited to try because I loved the original tropical starburst I just wish they had the Pina colada flavor that they had before. It was always my flavor if I could get a whole packet with just that flavor I would. I was sad when it was discontinued

Yummy little treats that are small enough you can eat a few without breaking the calorie budget. That being said, it’s also easy to keep eating them because they are small. We enjoyed combining flavors to create the perfect combination. Great alternative to the wrapped starburst.

But so is going through way more than you were intending lol. These are so addicting. The flavors are so delightful and so different than one another. Each chew takes you on a different journey. What really sets it apart is the fact that it's not so sticky to stick your teeth or any braces you may have. Perfect bag allows for it to be carried anywhere you may want a little pick-me-up. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a fan of the original and think this is a good variation. I like that they are unwrapped so there is no time wasted removing the wrapper. So far they remained separate in the bag and do not stick together. Smaller size is good for portion control and to try different flavor combinations. Taken all together it does have the right fruit notes for a tropical feel. My favorite of the four was pineapple orange.

Because sometimes you just want a smaller bite of something and not a whole piece. Am I right?!! Starbursts have been around for years! So I was excited that I get to try their new tropical mini line! It smells of the perfect summer flavors: mango melon, pineapple, orange, watermelon, and strawberry kiwi. I love that it comes in a resealable bag to maintain freshness and easy access for a little or a lot. No judgement here. What I am not a fan of is that it contains bio engineered food ingredients, red 40, yellow 6, and blue 1. My recommendation would be to always make sure you’re reading the package, front and back, and make an informed, educated decision if this is something you would like to purchase.

The first thing I noticed is that the texture is a little bit softer than a classic Starburst, likely because these are tiny and unwrapped. They are very easy to snack on, but the flavor experience was a bit unbalanced. The Flavor Breakdown Red (Strawberry Kiwi): This was tied for my favorite. I got a solid strawberry taste with a nice hint of cherry, but I didn't notice any kiwi flavor—if it was there, it was way in the background. Unfortunately, there was hardly any red in the bag at all. Yellow (Pineapple Orange): Also a favorite; it gives a hint of orange with a barely there pineapple finish. Orange (Mango Melon): There were more orange than any other flavor in my bag. It takes a bit for the flavor to kick in, and you mostly get a hint of orange at first. However, if you chew it longer, the melon does come through stronger. Green (Watermelon): This flavor provides an immediate watermelon hit. While the flavor is strong, green was not my favorite simply because I’m not usually a fan of watermelon-flavored candies. Final Verdict The softer chew and convenience are great, but the lopsided distribution really let me down. I found myself digging for the Strawberry Kiwi and Pineapple Orange pieces that I actually preferred. If you don't mind a bag that is mostly a slow-building Mango Melon flavor, you'll enjoy these, but they didn't quite meet my standards for a balanced mix.

We love the taste so much and haven’t tried this specific one before. It’s chewy, a little sour and sweet, great texture, easy to bring everywhere to enjoy for a little treat.
