one of the better frozen options
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Laoban dumplings, are probably the best for mainstream frozen soup dumplings. It's got enough soup and is easy to prepare and tastes good. As a quick lunch this is something I'll definitely reach for.

Tasty soup dumplings
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried an earlier version of Laoban's soup dumplings, which requires boiling on stove top. This new version is much easier to prepare and solves some of the earlier problems (e.g., dumpling splitting open, odd texture). With the new version, I have tried both the pork and chicken versions, with and without sauce. Both flavors taste good. I would recommend simply skipping the sauce, as the sauce does not add much to the overall taste profile.

Small dumplings loaded with flavor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time trying Laoban soup dumplings and I didn't know what to expect. I thought the dumplings went inside a pot of soup, but its actually the other way around! The soup is -inside- the dumplings. No microwave so I steamed them according to the directions and they came out perfect. I liked the flavor and texture of meat, dumplings and soup. But that yuzu sauce is incredible! It pulled all the flavors together. My only complaint is that I wish it were a bigger serving! Me and my son ate 3 each, even though the box is 1 serving. I paired them with some leftover rice and veggies that I pan fried with a scrambled egg for a quick lunch.

Tasty Dumplings!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These dumplings came frozen in a heatable tray, so I popped them in the microwave for lunch. They are delicious! The instructions were easy to follow and seem to create a steamed / crispy combination that still kept the end interior and filling moist. I was so surprised by the quality of dumpling because they were frozen. These exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be buying them again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love dumplings, especially soup dumplings so I was so excited to try these. I tried the pork flavor and I could tell that they had more flavor and moisture than other brands. Easy cook in the microwave and the packaging didn't leak. The soup dumplings let out some liquid in the cooking process. I love that these came with sauce and it was delicious. I would love for these packages to just be a bit bigger - 1 or 2 more dumplings. That is my only gripe that especially for the price I am going to have to supplement this meal with something else or I will be hungry again in 20 minutes.
