These work, even my 3 year old could make them. However, it ultimately only includes enough to mix one batch of solution, which is a shame because it included plenty of colors and we could’ve used the set multiple times.

These are so fun. They are like glue and the solution sets the molds. My 5 year old daughter plays with these constantly and it keeps her entertained for a while. Less messy than slime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a lot of instructions and I feel like some of the instructions were unclear on how to use the product. I think the solution mix poses a threat to smaller children and those that do not handle it with care. It is an excellent toy for older kids that do not have younger siblings. The overall concept was fun and exciting for my kids, but I do think my children are a little bit too young to enjoy this toy.

The directions are simple but lack crucial details about how long to leave things in solution vs water. We followed a QR code that only repeated the directions in the box. The kids bailed as colors ran together despite how long we tried to dry out the individual hues, and they look nothing like the ones on the box as they decorate one sided. These are adult efforts. Kids must be supervised and the bottles are not precise despite best efforts. We tried different lengths and some still leaked overnight. The included package doubles as a play set, but since these buddies don’t sit up or do anything it was an overall flop.

This was the worst project ever. You have to leave it in a solution for a while for it to even get hard but if you squeeze, it’ll ooze out. The only thing that looks good is maybe the heart.

The directions are easy to follow and the materials were also easy to use. The packaging is fine but the big “bath” is bulky and probably just a one time use. The creatures we will make over and over again! And while they are fun and easy to make they just never looked as clean as the images on the boxes hahaha

Everything was easy to use. Took off one star because some of the gel colors bled together (like the eyes)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a fun toy and activity for my artistic boy who loves to make messes and create things! The instructions are very simple and easy to understand, and the set up is also simple. I do wish that the colored gel had a finer-tipped point to be more accurate when dispensing. However, my son didn’t complain too much about it and this activity kept him busy for hours. Overall, this is a fun activity for a rainy/indoor day or to give as a gift to any kids that love to make and create things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product packaging is great. Its well put together, the components felt quality and we're easy to use. I did find the instruction layout very confusing, it was hard to actually find the different steps. Once we did find the directions, it was easy to use. The making of the jellies was fun and easy, but once made, they were quite difficult to play with. When they were jelly, they burst easy, when left in water some of them disintegrated, and when left out they shriveled up and became unusable.

This is a great entertainment for my kids. They were entertained for hours.

I saw the ad for these online, told my mother in-law about it and she bought it as a surprise for my daughter. My daughter is 7 and caught on how easy it was to make them, super fun and easy to use. The goop got on my towels and easily washers right off. We're hoping to find more refill bottles for future use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's super easy to set up, and no mess what so ever! My daughter has been making Gel-Y Buddies for over an hour now. It's such a nice and fun craft for kids!

We had fun using it. Just getting started. My 3 and 5 year old understand how to do it and play with it. Even my 17 yo is having fun doing it!

They don’t turn into toys they’re just paint encased in silica. Cool but weird and messy
