Q: does this body pillow block dust mites?

  • A: Thanks for your important question. Our pillowcase is made from 500-thread-count cotton sateen. The high thread count creates a densely woven fabric that is smoother and may help limit dust mite penetration compared to looser weaves.However, the most effective way to control dust mites is through regular washing in hot water (above 130°F/55°C), which our cotton can withstand. For severe allergies, using a specialized allergen-barrier cover underneath is also recommended.

Feels bad

The feel of this fabric, while definitely a cotton, is awful. Running my hand across it gets lots of tiny catches and feels not great. I expected a nice smooth slide when running my hand across it. I know this is a pretty cheap product, but I thought it would at least be acceptable. It gets two stars instead of one star, because it is a body pillowcase of the appropriate size, and fits very well on my pillow. It also looks fine, aesthetically.
