Simple desk that would easily get a 5 star review, but the following issues make me have to lower it to 3 stars: 1. Assembly - Assembly is generally straightforward but there were some obvious defects in some of the parts. For instance, panel #9 (the rear panel that faces the wall) had 3 out of the 4 circular holes not drilled out deeply enough so the screw holder parts did not fit inside appropriately. I had to manually scrape out bits of plywood to deepen the holes to get these parts to fit. - Two of the screws (one of the M6 x 50mm and one of the M6 x 70 mm) had threads that were bent/defective so they did not screw into the parts appropriately. I had to go to the hardware store to buy my own replacement screws. - The assembly manual had two flat out errors. One with a panel that was the mirror image of what it was supposed to be, and another that had me put a screw in the wrong hole (and yes, I double and triple checked to make sure I wasn't the one who was wrong). I was able to figure out what the manual had actually intended in both cases, but for someone who hasn't built a lot of flat pack furniture before I could easily see them getting tripped up by these errors. 2. Build quality - This is not a great desk for build quality. Parts do not line up well, and some of the panels were slightly warped leaving small gaps between adjacent pieces of wood even when the fasteners were tightened appropriately. Some of the screws also caused several bulges to pop up on the left and right edges of the desk so it's not flat. The drill holes were not placed very precisely so some of the parts do not line up perfectly. - The black wood veneer is fairly fragile. If you don't handle the wood panels very delicately during assembly, it's fairly easy to accidentally chip off some of the veneer from some of the edges. 3. Design - This is a very basic, no frills desk. The drawer does not have a roller/track mechanism so it has a decent amount of friction when opening or closing it. - In addition, there is no padding for the bottom drawer door so when you open/close it, it makes a rather loud clapping sound from wood hitting wood directly. However, at the end of the day, it still functions as a desk so I suppose I still have to give it 3 stars. But for a similar price you can get a much better build quality desk from IKEA.

I haven't finsihed building it because the nails won't go all the way in their desired holes. This is so frustrating!!!

Very cute desk. Perfect for my daughter’s room. She helped me put it together; it was very easy.

Overall cute little desk at a good price. Putting together was a pain because the tracks that were already installed did not line up, so when the drawers were attached they were crooked. My husband was able to fix it but it took a lot of adjusting.

So glad I purchased this desk it is so cute and I love the color. It’s pretty heavy and as of building it , it wasn’t as difficult but it is a two person job forsure.

I'm always nervous about put-it-together-yourself furniture, yet don't want to spend a ton of money on furniture for my young children, but this was a pleasant surprise. The pieces fit together perfectly, the connections are the standard that you'll find at IKEA and all other assembly-required furniture, but for some reason these worked out. It's sturdy and looks great!

This desk isn't very big, but it fits perfectly in my room. Very easy to set up. For I only use my laptop at home, I don't really like a big desk, I think it takes up too much space. And it has two drawers so that I can put lots of papers in it.

It was easy to set up, the drawer slide smoothly, legs look good. Nice design is very match my daughter’s bedroom. It arrived in very good condition, many thanks to the seller.

This desk suits my needs quite well, it's not too large but still has a good amount of desktop space. I was able to assemble it myself. The drawer is a little wonky but it's not too bad. Great for the price.
