The best desk I have ever owned.

This desk is so beautiful and big enough for my printer. Stunning style, classy and classic, well made, plenty of storage. My husband said it was so easy to assemble, which makes it even better. This is the best desk I have ever used. I love it so much.

Definitely worth buying!

I have been using this table for a week now and I am very happy with it! All functions are working perfectly and it feels very solid. The classic country style is exactly what I was looking for, with lots of charm and timelessness. The details, craftsmanship and overall quality are excellent value for money. Definitely worth the money!

The most beautiful and best value desk

Definitely worth the money and looks great in my office. This desk is heavy and the top is made of solid wood, which is very durable and has a very nice finish. The top feels smooth to the touch. The file drawers are also very sturdy. It helps me store a lot of valuable documents. This desk is big enough for one person to work on a daily basis. All in all, I work more on this desk and I like it very much. I will buy it again in the future when the need arises.

I read a lot of reviews before buying this table and the only consistent thing was that it took too long to assemble. They didn't lie!! However, I thought the instructions were great and the table is nice and sturdy. Very durable. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Great desk

This was a tax refund gift for my husband. He had an old kitchen table as a desk for years and always complained about wanting something better. We shopped around in so many antique stores and gave up because we couldn't find the right desk. Finally, I found this one and he loves it. It has plenty of room for desktop organizers, game consoles, and plenty of shelves for books, knickknacks, or whatever else you want. It's big, roomy, and sturdy, but be warned, it's a pain to assemble, and if you glue all the nails like we did, you'll definitely have to buy more wood glue for extra support.

Good quality, very happy with this table, shipping was fast, just a note, order was from costway, sold and shipped, had issues with other sellers. Took me 4 hours to assemble, instructions were clear, except for the drawer guides, take your time and use common sense to fill the 3 screw holes. The drawers fit well and look straight. Cons: It's heavy. The UPS courier was not happy but I met him on the roadside with my two wheeler. If you are going to put it somewhere with lots of stairs, I would recommend opening the box and taking it piece by piece. Pros: Instructions were clear, all parts were clearly labeled, instructions were easy to follow, great value for money.

Love it! Looks great! Exactly what I was looking for. The pieces fit together really well, very solid furniture. As for assembly, it takes patience. The instructions are mostly drawings, so you have to be very careful to figure out the orientation of the wood pieces and parts. It was crucial for us to lay them out in the room. I labeled the pieces in a plastic bag with a marker for easy identification. It's also heavy, so we packed it as close to where it was going to go as possible. I had a bottle of wood glue, so we used that. I'm sure the stuff they give you is definitely not enough. It took us a few days to assemble (and we had to take many breaks). But the best part is that my husband and I are still together!!! (Remember the importance of patience.)

File drawer measures 11-1/2 x 10

The desk is very sturdy and has a fairly simple design. There is plenty of storage space and the colors are true to the pictures on costway. There is only one problem, but it is very important to us: the drawers are not deep/long enough. They are only 11-1/2 inches long and 10 inches wide. The filing drawer (bottom right) is where our main issue is. A typical file folder system has to be compressed to fit inside, let alone hang files. Not sure why they made the drawers so shallow - it would be much more functional if the drawers were the same depth as the desk itself. The cabinet (bottom left) is the same depth as the desk - 20 inches. Read the drawer dimensions carefully - it may or may not be the right size for you depending on your needs. Other than that, the desk is very sturdy.

Work without interruption

Surprisingly, very happy with the final product. I have been an aviation mechanic for over 20 years and now work as a quality engineer. It took me 2 days, about 4 hours per day (8 hours total), with my 4 year old wanting to help a few times in between...if it wasn't for that, I could probably have done it myself in 6 hours. You need two people to lift the table top...trust me. The instructions say not to use power tools like a drill...if you have a good one with different settings, use that, or don't. I chose to use it on the 3 lowest power settings and had no problems. That being said, the packaging was a little worn, but everything seemed to be in good order and there were still a lot of parts to sift through. I found that they didn't provide enough glue to stick the dowels, so if you have some wood glue on hand, use that. This was probably the most time consuming part of the whole build. The fasteners they provide don't always sit flush with the wood, and the stickers they provide don't stay in place for long or sit flush with fasteners that don't sit flush. Also, the items were dirty like industrial dust and smelled like a sweatshop. I saw a video where someone said they couldn't install the drawers because the slides were missing and the person didn't understand what they were doing. Even though the instructions say to snap the slides together, they actually come attached together which can be confusing, meaning you have to separate the two halves first by pressing the tabs. One is installed on the drawers and the other is installed on the table. You can see in the video that both halves are installed on the side of the table and the person didn't understand what he was doing. These are the cons that I think about after a month. Got a bucket of warm water and detergent and cleaned the unit with a wrung out rag. Everything was done relatively smoothly. Just takes a little time at some points and you have to look closely at the pictures to understand what to do. Overall, not many cons, I love the look and functionality of this table and it's worth your time and money.
