Love the colors, pattern, and oval shape of the rug! It is thicker and softer than I was anticipating which is a plus! We have it on hard floors with some heavy furniture on it (couch and coffee table) - it does not slide and we don't feel the need to have a pad underneath. It came folded up in a package (rather than rolled) which concerned me, but it flattened out completely in a couple of days. No bad/chemical smells either when removed from the package (which rugs can sometimes have). I admittedly contemplated this purchase for about 6 months but am so glad I finally did it!
