Basketweave Cotton Matelasse Bedskirt

I bought this to cover my box spring, in an effort to prevent my cats from shredding my box spring. It does appear to have worked ! It is not flimsy. It doesn't quite stay put, but stays enough to do its job. NOTE: there is no top to this thing, THink of it like a rubber band covering the outside of the box spring.It has no top and no bottom. But it did the trick for me and thats all that counts (especially at 50% off!)

Lovely fabric, styling and fit. Used it on a metal base for foam mattress, Hefty in weight and looks absolutely beautiful. **Note** This is supposed to be for a standard King , but the circumference of a King and California King are the same. We used it on a California King and it fits perfectly.

I thought the cover would cover my boxspring and have at least a few inch over hang at top and bottom! I have a normal depth box spring- the cover barely went a half inch over and under the unit!

Our cat had scratched the box spring cover and I wanted to hide the unsightly fraying. This cover is substantial weight and has a lovely pattern in the fabric. It went on easily like a big stretchy hairband. When the covers are pulled back revealing the box spring, it looks lovely.

Returning this ridiculous item. Its just a band of fabric to stretch around your box spring, with no top attached! This was not depicted online. I have no idea about the fit or quality but for this joke creation, I suppose it's fine. Not only did I pay huge shipping fee but now I have to pay to return the thing. Never seen anything like it.

I've bought several box springs over the years that have all had an attached sheet that wedges between the mattress and box spring. However, apparently "wrap-around" box springs are also a thing. This cover is like a giant scrunchie that fits only over the sides of the box spring. I had never seen one before, and the single picture and written description did not indicate that this was a wrap-around box spring cover. Two people spent 15 futile minutes trying to put this cover on -- only to have it constantly pop off each corner. My full-sized box spring is only 11" deep, but there was barely any extra material to anchor it depthwise. When I realized that the mattress cover was turning into an I Love Lucy episode -- I gave up. I will say the quality of the cloth was excellent -- if I could have gotten it to work I might have liked it. Although I think it would likely pop off every time I disrupted it by changing my sheets. I bought this very on sale, so I can't complain about the price. But it's not worth the return fee to send it back (there are no longer any brick and mortar Land's End stores in my town), so I am going to donate it, and hope that some dexterous soul will have better luck with it than we did.

This went back immediately. There is no way it will remain securely in place on the box spring. It has no fabric (that would lay flat across the top of the box spring) to hold it in place as you would find with a bed skirt. I suppose you could pin it in place ???

Just what I needed for my 9” box spring. Nice thick fabric, easy to put on (it’s basically a tube top for the box spring…). and a million times better than a bed skirt (spider ladder!).

It is very pretty and well made. It has elastic on both sides. I was under the impression it went over the box spring like a dust ruffle with elastic on the bottom for a close fit. A better description would have helped.

I bought this and it’s absolutely beautiful. Covers my box spring completely on my platform bed looks great and easy to put on. It even fits a king split box spring

This product has solved a problem for me, and I’m so glad you invented it. It improves the look of our bed very much, so I don’t have to use a bed skirt, and I can tuck the comforter in and not lose the covers to my husband every night., thank you!

Great fit with thick material to hide box spring and black bed frame.

I looked for a way to cover my box spring for a long time. Lands End doesn’t disappoint! The fit was perfect and it looks great!

I purchased the "soft white". It is cream. It's not the color shown in the photo or as described. Now I find I have to pay to return it!

I bought new mattresses & the box springs were 9” tall & black. These box spring covers are thick enough to cover the black. You don’t have to remove the mattress to put them on - easy with 2 people. They fit well & look tailored.

We replaced our 20+ year old sleigh bed with a modern one with a low footboard - and this meant the box spring was exposed, which was not great. This box spring cover is perfect: tailored and tight, easy to put on, and makes the bed look gorgeous, with clean lines. Highly, highly recommend.

I have purchased numerous matelasse box spring covers from other retailers in the past. A proper box spring cover should cover the entire box spring like a fitted sheet. Nowhere in the description did it explain that these covers only wrap around the side edges of the box spring and do not fully cover the top of the box spring. I ordered 6 - all are being returned unopened. Very disappointing.

I first purchased a full size, enjoyed that very much, and just ordered 2 twin size. I like the quality of the material. I like the ease of use. Most of all, I like the way these box spring covers change the look of the bedroom. They have a very clean and tidy look.
