Not what I expected for the price

I purchased this desk for my daughter based on the design and size, which are both great in theory. Unfortunately, the quality did not meet expectations at all. The desktop arrived damaged right out of the box, which was very disappointing. In addition, the drawers do not open and close smoothly—they stick and feel poorly constructed, making the desk frustrating to use on a daily basis. For the price, I expected much better quality control and functionality. While the desk looks nice once assembled, the damage and drawer issues make it feel cheaply made and not worth the cost. Due to these defects, I would not recommend this desk.
