[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just really did not enjoy the flavor of this sauce pouch. I followed the directions to make butter chicken but it was too salty. The color was nice and on par with other butter chickens I’ve had in the past.

It’s ideal to use with ground beef, specially when preparing tacos🌮. It also works very well for making Bolognese pasta. The sauce is already well-seasoned, I wouldn’t recommend to to many extra spices to the meat, as the sauce itself brings out of plenty of flavor. Although it could be used with other meats like chicken or pork, it pairs best with ground beef. The quantity is enough for sharing with family or friends and the color is normal. Note: it’s a bit greasy.

The only thing I would change is I would do to things of sauce cause I like a lot of sauce. The whole house smelt amazing.

What I really loved is how consistent it is. I just added chicken, let it simmer and within minutes I had a full delicious meal ready. It’s a little bit thinner than other similar sauces I’ve tried, but we kind of liked that about it. It was simple to cook and there are so many ways you could cook this stuff! The sauce was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. I added some of my own spices to the chicken prior to cooking but otherwise it didn’t need to be doctored up at all. There wasn’t really any spice, just a punch of butter chicken flavor. Can’t wait to make this for dinner again.

The sauce did separate while simmering and needed to be stirred vigorously to come back together. We used about 1.3 lbs of chicken, and since we like our dishes saucy, another jar would have complemented the 7-oz jar nicely. It is not advertised on the product that it is a curry sauce and more than just a mild spicy level. The sauce makes a good chicken curry with chicken and rice and is easy to use and make a quick dinner in the stove. Just dump, stir and heat. There isn’t much butter flavor because of the spices. The quantity is perfect for one meal for 4 people.
