Saline solution is used for rinsing soft (hydrophilic) and gas permeable contact lenses after cleaning and before lens insertion with chemical (not heat) and hydrogen peroxide systems.

My contacts now feel more comfortable
This saline has been a game changer for me with the struggle I've had with contact lens discomfort. My contacts now feel comfortable from the moment I put them on. I use this to rinse off my contacts after overnight disinfection in a multipurpose solution (MPS). I was using the MPS to rinse off particulates that loosened during disinfection, but my eyes would sting and water like crazy for half the morning after inserting my contacts. When I skip rinsing altogether, my eyes stay irritated all day. This saline is a necessity for me.
