After trying them I found them to be flavorful but I hated the texture. Very chewy and the texture was hard to get past. I like that there were many different ways to cook them and most were quick. Sorry I am for non meat high protein products but I can’t recommend this one.

I’ve been eating MorningStar Farms Vegetarian Sausage Links since the 1990s, back when veggie options were harder to find. They’ve stayed surprisingly consistent over the years, which says a lot. The taste is balanced, with just enough spice to feel like sausage, and the texture has that nice chew you want from this kind of product. I usually eat them at breakfast alongside waffles or pancakes, since the two-link serving size provides some protein to balance out the carbs. They’re affordable, quick to cook, and work well in just about any method, from stovetop to microwave to air fryer. They do contain egg whites and sodium caseinate (a milk ingredient), and they also have wheat gluten. But if those fit your food plan, they’re a solid choice. With these sausage links, the balance of flavor, texture, and convenience makes them a dependable option. And at 9 grams of protein per serving, they’re filling without being heavy. I have tried lots of morning star products that I love, unfortunately this one is not my favorite. It has a mealy texture and was falling apart even in the pan. My husband described like this “it tastes like thanksgiving”. I think it has alot of rosemary and sage. Maybe to cover the lack of natural meat flavor? Either way, I think the links don’t seem to work well. Their patties are much better! Try them!

I’m vegetarian and while he does eat meat, he’s always happy to cook vegetarian for me. He made this sausage with boiled potatoes and roasted squash. He thought the sausage really made the meal come together. The taste was excellent! We will certainly buy this again.

The texture was rubbery, the flavor was bland and artificial, and overall they just weren’t enjoyable to eat. On top of that they gave me indigestion afterward, which made the experience even worse. I wouldn’t recommend them and definitely won’t be getting them again.

We put them in the air fryer. The only thing I wish is that they were dairy free, as well. There doesn’t seem to be a necessity for dairy to be in the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a vegetarian for 25 years and MorningStar is the only alternative brand I’ll buy. We love these sausages in my house. They have a good texture, they cook up nicely in the air flyer, and the taste is great. Excellent source of protein as well. Sometimes I’ll just cook up four sausages after a workout for a quick 18g protein snack. I don’t love many meat substitutes because I genuinely hate the taste of meat and I don’t need it to taste the same. I think Morningstar does a great job of making the seasonings and texture shine rather than giving the “meat” flavor, if that makes sense. Long time fan.

I was fed them as a child and thought they were real sausages now they are my favorite things ever!
