Marie Callender’s satin pie is better
The crust is like chocolate sand but everything on top of it is good. I was looking for Marie Callender’s chocolate satin pie but couldn’t find it in the app. This was more than acceptable but I won’t get it again because pealing everything off the crust was a huge pain.

This pie tastes artificial and bland. I expected something rich and delectable. But I was left with a taste of something cheap and overly processed. Too many soy oils and filler. I ate half a piece and decided it was best to just toss the whole pie.

This and Edward’s Lemon Meringue Pie have always been my faves, which sadly the lemon meringue was discontinued and I’m still heartbroken over. It was nostalgic for me also because it was my dad’s favorite pie, but anywho, we’re here to talk chocolate creme pie! This pie is delicious. It’s basically a chocolate pie crust and then a whole lot of creme, which is the point. It’s chocolaty goodness and you can’t go wrong. I wouldn’t pair this with any ice cream or anything. It’s already super sweet on it’s own and the creme doesn’t need ice cream to pair with. My oldest daughter absolutely HATES pie. She won’t eat apple pie, cherry pie, blueberry, pumpkin, sweet potato, etc., but this one, she will eat with a giant smile on her face. She says it tastes like chocolate cookie with chocolate whipped cream to her. This is always one of my staples for any holiday, get together, or just because.
