I much prefer these crispier vs soggy. But that's me. Next time I buy asparagus I will purchase the regular bunch and air fry them.

I bought the asparagus spears because I always buy Birdseye and never have had a problem with any. This is the first and last time I would purchase them They were so woody and tough.

Best asparagus during off season
Love to season this with olive oil, lemon pepper seasoning, and a little salt. Pairs nicely with my chicken wrapped in bacon. Love to get this during the off season when I need my asparagus fix.

Save your money!
Asparagus has been my favorite veggie since I was 5 years old. And although Birds Eye has been around for a long time this is the worst asparagus I have ever eaten. The spears were tough and stringy, and on some spears, the woody end has not been removed. The flavor was odd, not what I am used to. I have eaten asparagus in many ways…raw, roasted, bbq, steamed, etc,etc. but never has it tasted this bad. Asparagus is an expensive veggie and I never hesitate to pay the price, but I won’t make this same mistake twice. I still have the bag if you want details from it, but I won’t hold on to it forever. Thank you and I’m sorry I couldn’t make this a 5* review!

Don't bother
Follwed the directions on the package and cooked for the directed time in the microwave and the asparagus was complete mush, My family took one look at it and refused to eat it. The entire bag ended up in the garbage. Complete waste of money.

Packaging Problems
The package leaked everywhere out of the bottom corner. I had to clean the floor and microwave. I shouldn't have to use a bowl with this package according to the direction in cooking in the microwave. The asparagus was good.
