Terrible chemical off-gas smell
I purchased this set because I really like the color and the price is good. However, upon opening the package the entire package gave off a horrible chemical smell. I washed them twice in hot water and the smell remained. Only after leaving the duvet and pillow shams on an outdoor laundry line did the smell abate. I think I will be able to use them but as a buyer you should beware.

This duvet cover set is lovely. It is 100% cotton and washable. It has ties in all four corners. Its closure for the duvet cover is actually zippered, not buttons. The shams also have zipper closures, which has a very clean effect.

This duvet is beautiful and the color is gorgeous. This is the first duvet I've purchased that zips and has ties in all four corners--I love it. The duvet is soft, colorful, comfortable and a great quality. When I pulled the duvet out of the package, it did smell like an oil refinery, but once I washed it, the odor was no longer there. Also, I have a king size bed, my comforter hangs 4"-5" over the each side and fits the length of the bed. I did get this in a king size and it fits my comforter perfectly!! I have another duvet that is king and it is very large for my comforter, so I'm not sure if this runs small or the other one runs large.

This is a nice duvet. There is a zipper the entire length of the bottom which makes it fairly easy to slide your comforter in. It's definitely a stiff cotton, not super soft. I don't think it is worth the full price, but if you can pick it up on sale then do it! I think I paid 67$ on sale. NOT worth paying 90$.
