Nice basil flavor.
I often purchase organic products, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delightful this tomato soup is. This soup has great flavoring and isn’t overly sweet or salty. Its consistency is smooth. I’d describe it as a little thicker than water. It’s easy to warm up and tastes just as good as any other tomato soup on the market, if not even better. It pairs great with a grilled cheese. I highly recommend it!

Nope.
I rarely do reviews for products, but this one was so gross that I needed to try to do my part to help someone else save their money. This soup tasted so off that I had to double check and make sure that it wasn’t actually expired. I love this brand and love their other tomato soup so much, I figured this one would be great also but unfortunately not. I don’t know what they did so differently with this one, but yuck. I couldn’t even bring myself to finish a cup of it.

Bought in bulk because I eat this for breakfast everyday and have to say it does the job. Doesn’t taste weird, no “film” left behind , no weird texture — I think people leaving all the hate comments are out of line. Great soup. Will buy again.

The tomato basil soup is incredible. Super low calorie and plant based, it's on rotation at my house and a pantry staple. You can use it to make pizza, sauces, or as a base for other soups in addition to just having it by itself. It boosts with tomato flavor and really clean ingredients. Love this! Highly recommend

Strange flavor
Flavor was strange, not like a tomato soup. There was a peppery aspect that was unexpected, and the overall flavor was just asking and not tomato-ey. The soy base is the 2nd ingredient after water which is probably the main issue as soy is not a flavor you want in tomato soup. Wasn't very creamy, so the soy seemed even less useful.

2nd ingredient: soybean paste
Gross. If I'm ordering tomato basil soup I think that tomato should at least be in the top two ingredients. This one is soybeans. That explains the gritty texture. I guess if you're not really into the flavor of tomatoes, you might like it.

Chalky and bland
My kids say it’s chalky and has no taste even after I added salt. I like the clean ingredients, but if my kids won’t eat it then what’s the point?!
