I read the reviews posted prior to purchasing this chair. Several people made the comments that it was very firm, if not hard. However the look of the chair and quality was very nice. I decided to go ahead and order because this is an accent chair in our family room space. I'm very glad I ordered. The color is great. Quality is great. It is hard but I prefer that over it being too soft and breaking down quickly. The pricing was excellent for the product received.

Great chair, especially for the price. All you do is add the legs, very simple. The seat is firm, which should keep it from slouching too quickly. Very lightweight. I got the light Gray and it had a linen look. Perfect height and width...not a small chair nor an oversized one.

The chair is exactly as pictured. I did read its not the most comfortable chair, and would agree. Not great for a living room chair that you plan on sitting in for long periods of time. Overall the chair is sturdy and nice, but unfortunately not a good fit for us.

Whatever you do, don’t buy these chairs for comfort. I knew I just wanted them for looks in our family room. So they worked out fine. But they are even more uncomfortable than you’re imagining. They’re really pretty and easy assemble. Hard as a rock though.

Great to look at but questionable durability
We bought two of these for our living room. Very nice looking and comfortable but lacking when it comes to durability. We've had them less than 1 year and already have a tear along the seam of one of the seat cushions. So maybe if you plan on them not getting a ton of use, then they'll be great for you. But I believe you should be able to have company sit on them and be able to wash them (only washed them twice so far) and rips shouldn't happen like we've dealt with.

Great "sitting" chair
These chairs are a great value for the price and were very easy to assemble. The size is just right, not too big, not too small. The teal color is so pretty! They may be functional for a "sitting" room, but definitely not a snuggle up for hours and get cozy with a book kind of a chair because the cushions are somewhat stiff and the arms are not very padded. But this is exactly what I purchased them for - to put in our front room that doesn't get every day use. I would definitely recommend as a nice sitting or staging chair.
