Border Striped Kids' Rug - Pillowfort™

Great quality, unbeatable price and so soft!! This rug looks adorable in my five year old son’s bedroom.

I love this rug! My children have stuck play doh, colored on it, got it dirty, you name it. I was able to vacuum and wash in my washer and it looks good as new everytime. I’ve washed it several times and mine has held up pretty good. No complaints here!

The rug is pretty basic and very thin. It does have rubber backing. I’m writing this review because there is contradictory information in the description online about washing this rug. The rug is washable and under the care section it says spot clean. So like me, you may wonder, which is it? So when going to wash it today the sticker on the bottom says you CAN WASH it. I’ll put the photo up here to help you clear up what target customer service cannot. Wash on!

Keep looking… this rug isn’t great. I purchased the gray for my son’s room shortly after moving into our new home. I wanted something soft under foot that would last a few years and would not break the bank. Despite no furniture on any part of the rug, it flattened terribly and pilled just from light foot traffic within a year. Vacuuming doesn’t bring it back to life. It’s also very thin. Cute style, but poor materials and not worth the price. I’m already looking for a new rug. 🫤

this rug was a big bummer, the blue of the rug bled on the white of the rug, even just unrolling the rug left my hands covered in blue ink. returned asap.

The color is a beautiful blue, it’s soft, fit perfectly and doesn’t roll up at the edges or move around

It is very soft and I love that it has rubber gripping on the bottom so it doesn’t slide around!

Unfortunately, I am returning this rug. The size is good, but their are several pieces of thread on the sides hanging off that make me think the quality isn’t that great. The other issue is that the stripes are very cream, so it does not match my son’s gray and white room.

I think Pillowfort must have updated their colors because the rug that came in was a lot more pink than what it looks like online. We ordered purple because we have a Pillowfort comforter with purple in it from the year before last. But the “new purple” is totally different than the comforter and the picture online of the rug. When I walked through the store I saw the difference in the old colors and the new. Wish we could’ve gotten the “old purple”.

I think this is a great rug option for the price. We needed something quick and was happy to find this at target. It’s not very thick or anything but it gets the job done and is easy to vacuum. Also, it is oeko Tex certified (all of the pillow fort rugs we saw in store had that on their labels). When looking into child friendly rugs, I learned that a lot of rugs have some pretty nasty chemicals in them (that’s what that new rug smell is….). Oeko Tex certification means that it is tested for certain chemicals and meets their safety standard. This is great peace of mind for me as a parent. Target, please make larger sized oeko Tex certified rugs and I would love to see the other rugs carried in your stores have this certification, not just the pillowfort line of products. Thanks!

I really love this rug! I used this in my upstairs loft area, which is quite large. I was worried that the rug wouldn't be enough for the area, but it actually does a nice job in tying the whole room together. I love the color; it's a nice neutral grey that goes wonderfully with my color palate!

I love this rug in my office. It works great under my chair to protect my wood floors.

This rug unrolled and looked perfect and flat immediately after opening. I consider this a huge bonus for a shipped rug. The colors are muted and classic and it has a wonderful, soft feel underfoot.

I love the Pillowfort brand so much, this rug I got from them is a perfect example why. The dimensions are 4 feet by 6 feet, just the perfect size for my son's room. The color is a gorgeous navy striped with white lines. The rug is comfortable to touch, I love that the height is just right to vacuum it nicely. I can see this rug going perfectly with cool to neutral wall color, as mine is light gray and let me tell you - they are so beautiful together.

I like that this rug has a non-skid backing so it doesn’t slide around on my hardwood floor. The rug has soft carpet fibers and has held to our use good so far (no fibers loose or pulling up). The grey color was a little lighter than I expected compared to the online photo.

Great simple carpet! I love the size. Not too big. Not too small. It’s perfect for the kids room, which is where I plan to use it. Love the colors. Wish it was a little thicker. But overall, a great carpet.

Nice rig, the color is nice and as described on the posting. Only downside is it traps dirt, and it can be hard to clean. Having said that it is nice and plush and my son likes it.

This rug can go with any decor, it is a pretty neutral color which allows for that. The white stripes are a nice added touch. I like the size, it actually fits perfectly in my hallway area. This rug has a rubber backing to keep it from sliding all over and grips nicely on the existing carpet. I dod have some pulling out when I unrolled it and carefully pulled the pieces that were coming out and it just seemed to be loose extras, did not effect the rug in any way. I also vacuumed it and nothing else came up. It does seem to be prettt intact despite the few loose pieces. I love the size it covers alot of imperfections in out flooring. Its pretty soft! It feels great on bare feet and gives a little cushion! Overall a nice rug!
