Q: how does it attach to the metal bed frame? does it need screws?

A: Hi, Thank you for your question. As long as your bedframe has a location to attached a headboard you will be fine. The Headboard comes with posts that you can see in the pictures and screws to attached to your bedframe. Thank you, Modway Team

Q: How tall is just the upholstered part? Can it be wall mounted? What is depth of legs (ie if attached to metal bedframe, how many inches will it push out the bed?)

A: It's approx 25.5 inches. Yes, it can be wall mounted although we do not provide the necessary tools or instruction to do so. The leg depth is approx 0.7in (18mm)
