Absolutely love it. Game changer for my husband. Recent ambition. So much easier for him to eat at.

Three main issues: Materials, quality control, and handling by Target. We purchased two tables for a large room, both arrived with damage that appeared to be from the factory, though it was hard to tell because the boxes looked like they had been shipped around the world a few times. Target arranged to have them picked up for replacement, and while the pickup happened the next morning, the replacements didn't ship until several days after Target received the replacements. That took an annoyingly long time. One of the replacements was OK, but the other was assembled incorrectly from the factory, and there was no way for me to fix it, so Target arranged for pickup for table and issued a refund, and I just ordered one more from their website so it would arrive sooner. The table arrived and it was in OK shape, so after exactly one month, we have the two tables we ordered. We received five tables and two were acceptable. I see that as a 40% chance of receiving what you order, so consider that and the return/replace policy when making the purchase. These tables are over 100lbs, so you probably don't want to drive them back to the store yourself. Materials, quality control, and value: These tables are clearly not solid wood. The tops have a sort of plastic-looking quality, due to the simulated wood "grain". The bottom side of all of the tables had pieces of the chip board breaking off, though it's cosmetic and due to the location, nobody will ever see it. All of the wood joints have gaps, so the fit and finish is poor, but depending on your use, you may not care. All of the spring mechanisms worked smoothly, but all were slightly bent in different places. The pictures do look better than the actual products. All that being said, we are not fancy people. Our house is big, but not fancy. The style and concept behind these tables appeal to us, so we're willing to overlook the flaws. What you get for money these days is disappointing. Target is selling these tables for $299, but the price should probably be more like $150 at most. Sadly, Target is the cheapest place I could find. Most other places are selling these tables for at least $400, and the original price from Ashley is $550. We paid $600 for a pair of tables that fit our space and we're OK with it. Will we replace them at some point? Not sure. I doubt this will be furniture that anyone fights over when we die :) One more thought -- Target only allows for recommendations of "Yes, definitely" and "No, not at all". Neither of those options are really true, which is why I gave the long-winded description, but I'm DEFINITELY not in the "Yes, definitely" camp.

This coffee table is really nice Arrived early and was easy to assemble. Love the lift tp, this has so much room for remotes and magazines. Very happy with this purchase.

The table top is a really useful and nice feature to have. The color and rustic look is perfect my living room!

The table itself is pretty, however the quality is less than expected. Mine arrived broken in two places (pictures attached) however due to the weight, getting it back in the box, loaded up and returned to the store is not worth the hassle of returning.

we like it a lot for eating dinner in front of to the TV. It opens and closes nicely.

Love this table! Looks great and love the lift top. Be careful lowering the top down into the regular position.

I took a really long time to decide on a coffee table, and I am so happy I chose this one. I love it. It is very large, so plan for that. I took away one star, because in my opinion, the tension rod/spring that operates the lifting top is not quite heavy duty enough.

Quality look good. Easy to assemble and has a good weight to it.

Love it! First time having a lift top. Love having a snack or doing crafts and still be with my family.

Given it is particleboard, we used it gently and made sure not to put much weight on it. But the tabletop came crashing down on us while we were eating after only 2 months of using it. The entire weight of the tabletop is held up by screws going upwards into particleboard rather than having the tabletop mechanism actually rest on a surface. It’s a shame that such a beautiful table is so poorly designed.
