    Surprisingly Crisp

    I was honestly surprised by these. Even though they’re frozen, they still had a nice crisp texture on the outside with a soft center like a good macaron should. The flavors were bold but still smooth, not artificial or overly sweet. They tasted fresh and balanced. Definitely impressed for a frozen option and would buy again.

    Gritty & unpleasant

    First time trying these macarons from Target and not inpressed at all. The ganache filling is smooth, but the almond macaron is very gritty with large almond chunks. Not sure if we got a bad batch or if this texture is their usual quality. We've eaten macarons from many placesn but these are low quality, just unrefined & unsophisticated. The flavors are weak or faint whether cold or even room temperature. Lemon & raspberry beingthe most flavorful. The chocolate & the vanilla ones are really no descript flavor wise. The salted caramel is okay, but just barely tastes of caramel. With the gritty, unrefined texture & weak to nothing flavor they're simply not worth the calories, nor the money either. Definitely will not repurchase.

    Why is wheat in a product that isnt supposed to have wheat in it? Use almond flour.

    Ridiculous to ruin a French delicacy with wheat. These cookies are made from almond flour not wheat, these taste nothing like French macarons and anyone who reviewed this highly is not well traveled and only travels to target and home. Don’t sell French products if you can’t make them the French way! Rename these or fix the ingredients, this is a disgrace to French pastries.

    I love macrons but I don’t have a bakery around I can get any. I found these at target and I was a happy girl. They were great despite the frozen state they come in.
