Love, but...

I’ve had this duvet cover for a week now and here are my honest thoughts. 1. I like the fabric. I love that it’s a cotton/linen blend. So far there hasn’t been any pilling or discomfort. Con: while I was putting the cover on my duvet, it ripped at the seam near the zipper (pictured). This is an easy fix for me, so it didn’t bother me in that aspect. It bothered me that I paid $70 (which is a lot of money) for an item that one would assume is high quality based on the materials and cost, only for it to rip within seconds of being unfolded and used for its purpose. 2. The color I bought says dark grey on the packaging, however it has a slightly brownish color to it. Doesn’t bother me, just wanted to point that out, especially since someone online might think they’re getting a true grey but they get something that’s teetering into dark beige/dark khaki territory. I’m including pictures, since it could just be the lighting and my perception of color. 3. It’s the perfect fabric for the cold. I bought this cover and a duvet insert specifically before an ice storm, and it doesn’t disappoint in keeping me warm. Specific fabrics are meant for keeping you warm or cool, depending on what you’re looking for. Cotton and linen are both materials known for doing both. It’ll keep you cool in the summer and warm during the winter. Overall, I do love the cover, however I wish it hadn’t ripped literally as soon as I started putting it on my duvet.

I really regret getting this cover. And if you get this, be ready to fight the flimsy zipper for hours every time you have to wash the cover. I paid $89 to get my blood pressure up. It’s a travesty!

Got this for my son’s bed a few months ago. He said it was scratchy after the first wash. I had hopes that after a few more washes it would soften up but that hasn’t happened and now it’ll just sit in the back of our linen closet. Other than that, the quality is okay.

Bought 2nd Hand

I bought this 2nd hand so my review may be different. while looking for cotton bedding in the thrift stores. I came across this and knew I had to have it. The zipper could be better but ive found my own way to get it to work. i was sold on it being cottkn and fully machine wash/dry. ive never had problems with it in the time ive had it and used it. Its definitely something I would have bought new if I would have found it new first. *currently dont have pictures of it but the ones in the reviews are what I would put*

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I love the color, texture, and vibe of this set (I got it in charcoal), my dog jumped on the bed and ripped holes in it almost immediately. Not ideal for King

I enjoy the color, look, feel, and fabric of this cover. The biggest down fall of this is that there are only 4 ties to hold your comforter inside…with a king bed it bunches and sags in areas and the comforter does not stay or lay nicely inside.

I now have this in every color it comes in, it is great quality even after multiple watches two of the colors I’ve had for two years and they still look great they don’t get fuzzy, just softer after multiple washes. My favorite color is the beige one, but unfortunately, it is sold out otherwise

Buying another after years of use

I like the color and the fabric. You do have to take it straight out of the dryer regardless of the heat setting because it does wrinkle fast. I have had this duvet for a few years and wash it weekly. The zipper on the sham broke after about a year and the zipper on the cover is now starting to rip but I’ve definitely got my use out of it. I think if a better zipper was used when making these it would last longer because the zipper is cheap. I am replacing it with the exact duvet because I can’t seem to find another that I like more! Also, even though the color is almost white it is easy to remove a stain with a little Dawn dish soap. My son had bbq sauce on his hand and wiped it on the cover. I thought it was ruined but it came off easily!
