I like it very much,
I like it very much, went together fairly easy, and looks great. The only issue that I have is that I got one that was unfinished, so that I could stain it myself. There is what appears to be dried glue on some of the pieces that were put together. Since glue doesn’t stain you can see it. Is it enough to return it over?…No it’s a minor issue to me, but would have been nice not to be able to see it.

The mantel is beautiful and easy to mount, after 2 weeks of fireplace use it has developed cracks at 2 knots in the pine which I hope don’t spread and become a structural problem.
