Q: Is this piece weatherproof or can I seal it to use outdoors? Ginnie

A: Ginnie, Thank you for your interest in the Beaton Drum Storage Table. This the base is able to be used outdoors, however the top is not weatherproof or weather resistant. Being outdoors will damage the finish on the wood top.

Q: Is the top a smooth even wood top? It looks in the picture to be rippled & uneven, Not completely flat. Re: will a glass possible tip due to the uneven nature ot the top?

A: Barbg, Thank you for your interest in the Beaton Drum with Storage. The top has some texture and is not completely smooth. However, we have used them many times to hold glassware and have not had an issue with tipping.

I looooove it! I ordered a smaller, gold drum from another website and this same item was approximately $75 more. I did a google search and found this on Target!

Dissapointed Not Shinny or Silver
Super disappointed, was expecting much better quality. It looks like a totally different item from the pictures. Not silver, more of a pewter- not shiny at all and more tapered shape over all, with very faint indentations marks. Poor quality for sure. I gave it one star for the lid, which is nice wood and flat.

L - The Beaton Drum Table is a handcrafted hammered iron table. Due to this, there is some variation between each one. These do have a matte finish and will "shine" in bright lighting. We do apologize that you did not receive exactly what you were expecting.

Does not look anything like the photos. Arrived scratched. Cheap looking with an expensive price tag.
