This was so nasty!!!It tastes more like banana syrup or banana Laffy Taffy rather than pure banana. In my opinion, the Target brand is much better. It actually tastes more like a fluffy banana pudding that you would make at home. This one has more of a candy flavor than a pudding taste.

I was expecting a more creamy consistency. The bright yellow threw me off because of the tumeric addition. The taste was off also. I was expecting an off white creamy, banana flavoring. It didn't have a pudding taste and there could've been more vanilla wafers or shortbread cookies in the mix. I will not repurchase.

Banana laffy taffy
I was highly disappointed in the flavor of this ice cream. It was extremely yellow when I opened it which was concerning. It has a very manufactured taste it’s similar to a banana laffy taffy. I would not recommend.

Artificial Banana
The cookies in this ice cream are good. The ice cream itself tastes very artificial and more like custard than ice cream. Adding real banana’s to it helps. Adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream helps as well. I recommend you try this if you can’t get past the artificial banana taste like me.

Very disappointing
I really wanted to like this ice cream! I picked it up on a whim along with a pint of Jeni’s Gooey Butter Cake (which I can’t recommend enough!) but upon trying this flavor, I was very let down. Being from Mississippi, I’ve had stellar banana pudding and banana pudding flavored ice cream before so I know how it’s supposed to taste and this one sadly misses the mark. Not to mention the color of the custard itself is a very off putting yellow color and there were very few shortbread bits. Had to toss it after a few bites but I’ll say, skip this one. Maybe their other flavors are better?

The coloring concerns me.
The flavor is good and the cookie pieces are plentiful. But it has this off-putting fluorescent yellow color, which doesn’t reflect what’s advertised on the pint (a soft, creamy yellow color). I was hesitant to eat it at first. I would purchase again if the quality improves.

Fake banana flavor with tiny crumbs
It tastes like fake banana and the cookie “chunks” are more a tiny sprinkling of crumbs throughout. Very fake-yellow. I was hoping for more of the vanilla creaminess of the pudding flavor in banana pudding, but this was much more banana-focused. Not the worst but very disappointing for what I was hoping it would be.

A little disappointing
Tastes like artificial banana, like those fruit popsicles you can find. Not very creamy and more icy than anything. It didn’t wow me or make me want to Slap Yo Momma. Pretty dissapointed but it’s not THAT bad. If you are desperate for banana pudding flavored ice cream, this might be tolerable.
