I am so disappointed. I looked at this for weeks, did the "room view", read the reviews of this and its larger cousin (both colors) and I can't figure out why the reviews are so good. Mine was not silver metal as shown in the pictures. The section that holds the lights and crystals is dark metal that is spray painted in a grey finish not even remotely silver, imo. You can see the chipping and blotchy paint around the joints and the bottom piece looks like it has touch up paint on it or maybe someone forgot to finish the silver color and mine came with just a primer paint. Either way, I didn't want to chance a replacement. I really wanted to love this light. It is big and heavy (which I wanted) and it would be beautiful if it were actually silver like the pictures and didn't have paint damage.
