I love the look of this bookcase!! The quality is pretty good for the price. I have gotten so may compliments and it really is a space saver. It seems durable, although I highly suggest anchoring it to the wall to prevent tipping. Assembly and to quote my husband "was a pain in the butt!" Lol there are just a lot of pieces. It's not that it is difficult, it just takes a while and you have to make sure the boards are turned the right way. The last couple steps of assembly were a little confusing so read carefully. Also be careful when removing the large sticker on it, as I rubbed part of the wood finish off. Thankfully it was the back side, but still! All-in-all, I am happy with this purchase.

Wouldn't get if not on sale

This shelf looks pretty good when all assembled, but assembly was tedious and some of the pieces were a little chipped or the finish messed up. I put the worst looking shelves at the bottom so you don't really notice it when assembled. The included stickers to cover up the screw holes were not quite the same color, but it looks better than holes I suppose. The included anti-tip screw won't really work for anyone with an older home where the floors and walls aren't perfectly flat and even or if you have a baseboard really. I have it in a corner where of it tips over it won't hurt anyone, but I wouldn't recommend this for people with young children or pets that could knock into it unless you buy a different anti-tipping restraint. I got this on sale for $56.99 so I am happy for that price, but wouldn't want to spend more on this shelf.

Good for tight spaces

I got the white version for a very tight space, and this works well! I can't attach it to the wall, so heaviest items are on the bottom. It's not elegant, but does the job for a good price. When assembling, make sure that all the visible holes in the shelves are facing the same direction-towards the back brace. I had to unscrew a few to reorient them properly. The extra hardware pieces were helpful.
