I was prepared to file the paper off the backs of these with a zester based on reviews but was pleasantly surprised to find that they came off cleanly and easily. Maybe they fixed the issue. Very cute decorating candies!

They all got stuck to the paper backing…impossible to remove. Not gonna lie I still ate a couple and they are delicious, perfectly sweet and crunchy but dissolved quickly so I wouldn’t worry about choking hazard…but I couldn’t use them to put on cupcakes for children.

Okay, so yes, they do not come off of the paper backing. But you CAN take them off in one piece. That being said, these can be saved by shaving the backside with a microplane. Few swipes and the thin paper layer comes right off. Hope this helps!

They are totally useless. They all stick to the paper. I based all my decorations around these candy decoration Jack-o-lanterns. I wish I could give a negative star rating due to the money I lost buying this crap.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Just like all of the other reviews, they do not release from the paper backing. I’m disappointed because I wasted money. My 4 year old is disappointed because we couldn’t use these.

They do not release from the backing without taking paper with them. Only 4 of 24 came out with a film of paper attached. Of course, it is stuck on so you can’t get it off without setting the candy. Where is Wilton when you need it!!

If I could do zero stars I would. I just bought 3 packages of these, and I am extremely aggravated. All three packs are completely unusable because they do not peel off the paper smoothly. All the paper is still on the back. I have used these types of sugar decorations and have never had a set this bad. I can’t use them because the paper is not editable. You can’t even pick it off because it does not budge. Save your money and buy the name brand.

The taste was great (like sugar), it was not too crunchy, but unfortunately I could not use any because every single one the paper backing stuck so badly I could not get enough of it off to justify letting my kids eat it, or put it on the cupcakes. So in the end, not useable even though the taste and crunch we great.
