Q: lights are listed at twinkling. When I play the video, they are strobing. Strobes are annoying... Can't anyone remember how peaceful twinkling lights were... No one asked for lights to turn on 8 ways

A: Thank you for reaching out! We understand what you mean — the lights are listed as twinkling, but the video shows a strobing effect instead. The current model includes 8 lighting modes, some of which do have faster flashing patterns that may appear as strobe. If you prefer a calmer effect, you can press the small mode button on the controller until you reach the “steady on” or “slow fade” setting, which offers a softer, more peaceful glow. The light will stay in that mode as long as it remains plugged in.

the right look but...
Unfortunately these lights did not work for me. The plastic star-shaped light covers didn't securely fit over the bulb and fell off at random. Certainly not worth the $19.99 cost per item. I wish they had worked for me as they are cute!

Ambiance.
We lined the top of our bedroom with two strands of these lights. It adds such a beautiful ambiance to the room and it makes for a really relaxing and romantic setting. I'll definitely be buying these again! Note: We've only used them indoors. Don't know how they'd be on the porch or outside.

Daughter loves them
My daughter ABSOLUTELY adored these. They're so pretty and simple AND they don't really get hot. The only gripe I have is that they kind of smell after they've been on for a long time. No doubt the clastic stars are getting warmed by the lights and the smell is the plastic.

Great purchase!
I love the lights! I had a light hanging dinner party for a couple of my friends to help with installation. My others burned out after a few runs through Arizona storms. The new ones are waterproof, so they should weather the storms. Love having 9 different light patterns. Great purchase!

Amazing lights
I use these in my boys room as their night light, it gives enough light to make them feel comfortable but they aren't too bright to keep them awake. Their room is about 10 feet by 8 feet,so it's kind of small, one strand covers a long and short wall, which is enough light.

Every bulb worked without a hitch
Was camping and dinner was served later than we'd planned. Before we knew it we were eating in the dark.My husband had the lights in his truck and laid them down the middle of the table and there was enough light for a great dinner.
