Short life

It still looks nice after two years even though it’s falling apart. The screws are pulling out of the wood. It was nice while it lasted but it didn’t last long. Year 1 awesome. Year 2 could no longer move it around, started being wiggly. Beginning of spring on year 3 one side completely pulled out.

Elevated Picket Herb Garden

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a retired female and had no trouble putting it together, but I did predrill the screw holes to prevent the wood from splitting as reported by others. I would have given it 5 stars if the screw holes had been predrilled. I’m happy with it and it looks great on my deck with 6 herbs and 2 marigolds added for a pop of color.

Planter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, it is a great piece. We were intimidated that there were so many parts to put it together. The wood split when we screwed in the screws to hold it together. I'm worried that the split will travel and then break the seam and fall apart. I think it needs to be reinforced. But, that's a pain, why should we be stuck doing that? The wood should be stronger. Now that the whole thing is put together, how would we return it?

Not As Advertised!

No where in the advertising, that I could find, did it mention assembly required! what arrived was a box of many parts and a book of instructions. You can imagine this had on a 91 year old woman! My first impulse was to try and send it back, but that too was problematic. Finally, my son put it together after working on it for two days! Now it looks like the picture! I urge you to add to the ad that it must be put together!

No strain gardening

The mobile pocket herb garden bed is a good height for me. It is attractive and fits very nicely on my back deck. My grandson had to assemble it for me and the wood splits easily with the screws. The wood may not hold up to the weather over the years but while it lasts, it will be easy gardening on my back.
