What is a Soup Dumpling? A soup dumpling, also known as a Xiao Long Bao, is a delectable Chinese dumpling filled with juicy meat, savory broth, and a burst of flavors. With its delicate dough wrapping, these dumplings encapsulate a savory surprise that delights the palate with every bite, making it a great appetizer & more!

What are MiLa Frozen Soup Dumplings made of? 1. A premium flour milled from a blend of premium northern winter and spring wheats, this flour helps create a supple, delicate dumpling skin or wrapper. 2. Freshly ground pork & shrimp 3. Chicken & pork-based broth seasoned with aromatic rice wine, filling each dumpling with a rich, delicious flavor.

How do you cook MiLa Frozen Soup Dumplings?

1. In a large wok or pan, bring 2-3 inches of water to a rolling boil.

2. Place dumplings in lined bamboo steamer basket or any steamer basket of your choice. Make sure to leave a 1 inch gap between dumplings.

3. Steam dumplings for 11 minutes (until internal temp. reaches 165°F).

4. Remove from heat and rest, covered, for 1 minute. Serve with your favorite sauces and enjoy! Works as a great comfort food!

    Takeout

    Savory Chicken Soup Dumplings was the item that got us started several years ago. When we found Mila, we found our new favorite takeout spot. That is, we "take out" Mila from our freezer and a great dinner is ready in minutes. Mila noodles and potstickers are also on our favorites list, along with the chili crunch sauce. Everything Mila is easy to cook, beautiful and delicious. Thank you from the bottom of our taste buds.

    Best Soup Dumplings Outside of Homemade

    I lived off dumplings and soup dumplings in graduate school and I ate a lot of homemade ones from my fellow classmates. Having these readily available to pop into my steamer whenever I need a good meal makes a huge difference when it comes to dinner or lunch. I've convinced multiple coworkers to start ordering them and even they are hooked now!

    I almost never eat out when this in my freezer

    From the very first moment I tilted my head back, letting that savory soup filled my mouth, it was over. Doordash? Gooped. Grubhub? Gagged. Drive thrus? Found dead in Miami. I keep bags of this stuff in my freezer. It's just so easy to make in the steam roller and even easier to eat. The texture of the dough is chewy and soft, and the meat portion melts in your mouth. I actually like to bite a little hole in the base of the dumpling, drink up the soup, then suck as much broth as I can out of the dumpling before finally eating the rest. Seriously, it's the best.
