Odele Cream Pomade - Matte Finish + Medium Hold - 1.5oz

This hair pomade is my new favorite! I use it when i need extra help to keep my curls in place, and use it on my sons hair! I love how it holds in place but doesnt make your hair crinkley. Its very soft but strong in keeping your hair in place.

Love this product to style my hair especially after I wash it, it leaves my hair smelling fresh and clean. I have naturally in between straight/wavy hair and love how this product brings out some waves when I style it, no mess, no crunchy hair. I highly recommend! :)

This pomade is great for helping me shape the bangs of my pixie cut. It works best on dry hair of course and it holds good shape without feeling super crunchy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you ignore the toxic ingredients in the Odele cream pomade it's not alright. It's has a very strong fragrance which I kinda like but somebody else with a sensitive sense of smell might not enjoy it. Also it's somewhat of a creamer thicker pomade which on textured hair you might end up using quite a bit of product. My hair is straight and thick and even for my hair I needed more product than using other pomade to smooth out my hair near my scalp. Also the phenoxyethanol is troubling to see listed as an ingredient since it's not labeled how much of this ingredient is actually in the pomade. It makes me worried since less than 1% of considered safe to use because of the fact it's a known allergen and more importantly is an endocrine disruptor that can cause damage and toxicity to your blood, liver as well lead to fertility issues. I tend to look for products that are made out of natural and safe ingredients. In conclusion, if I saw this product on the shelf I would not buy it.

I warmed it up in the palm of my hand and applied it lightly all throughout my hair. I let my hair dry naturally while I scrunched my hair periodically. The beautiful texture and light curl this created in my hair was so cool! I particularly liked that it did not feel hard in my hair. I could have taken a brush through it at any time. My hair also smelled great!

The pomade is very easy to use, I use it on my pony tails to hold my postpartum baby hairs down! I am also using it to style my baby boys hair and my older son's hair!
