Q: The specs section says: "Maximum battery charge life: 1 hours". Does this actually mean the laptop only lasts for one hour unplugged at maximum battery saver mode?

A: Hi D, thanks for reaching out about Acer Nitro 17.3" 144Hz Gaming Laptop - Intel Ci5 - 16GB RAM - 512 SSD Storage - RTX4050 GPU - Black (AN517-55-558P). You should not expect the Acer Nitro 17.3" (AN517-55-558P) to only last 1 hour unplugged in battery saver mode. This is incorrect. For general, light usage (web Browse, document editing, video streaming, with battery saver enabled), you should expect a battery life of at least 4-6 hours, and potentially up to 8 hours under ideal conditions. If you are gaming or performing other highly demanding tasks, the battery life will drop significantly, and could indeed be in the 1-2.5 hour range. Got this on sale, have had it for 2 days and it's been amazing! Really good for a laptop. I've ran many emulators and they all run great. For the money this was a steal! Fans work better than I thought too. Would recommend to someone looking for a budget pc that can actually run stuff.

I can now stream and play my games easily. I love the big screen as well and the color lit keyboard, very stylish. It also holds a charge for a long time.
