Bookshelf is exactly what you see in the image. The wood is solid and stern. I’ve placed plenty of books on top of it, as well as other props, and it holds it all. It is very easy to assemble by yourself and it takes less than 20min.

This thing is really sturdy and it does look good. Be warned you will have to drill some decent sized holes in your wall to anchor it but if you don’t mind this is a good buy.

I had the best experience with Nathan James ordering the Theo Bookshelves. Initially, I order the black and oak one but after stalling it - the quality was great but the colors weren't working well. When I contacted them and wanted to replace the same bookshelf with Matte Black - it was seamless. For convenience sake, they let me keep the old one and sent over a new one in 48 hours. I was blown away by their service and love, love the bookshelf. They have got a lifelong customer!

I bought this because I love the look of it and after receiving it, the quality/functionality is great too. Putting it together was fairly simple, even installing it in the wall is easy. It is a very heavy shelf, so I needed a second set of hands to move it/hold it up, but it's very secure now that it's hung up. Would recommend and will probably buy another one for the other side of the room.

Very impressed! From the ordering to delivery, and putting together, this was a very easy process. We ordered 3 of the Theo 5 shelf bookcases for an office. All necessary parts were included with very easy assembly instructions. One shelf had a ding in it and the paint was a little bit “off” but we put it on the bottom, and no one will notice it. My husband definitely plan to order from NJ again and recommend it to others!

I never write reviews but because of the customer service I had to. The matte black shelves are beautiful when I first looked to purchase them they were out of stock and everyone else law online took advantage and up charged for it. I reached out to the team they told me they would notify me the min they came back in stock and they did just just that and I got the shelves. Couldn’t be happier love the team and hopefully will be back to purchase more soon
