Poor Quality Task Lamp
I want to like it as it is kind of funky looking, but the quality is super cheap. Cannot get the stem to fit in to base correctly or arm to stay properly. Even at the $25 sale price not a good buy. Packaging was terrible as pieces are loosely thrown in a box not wrapped well. I would pass on this and find something else.

Design flaw
I fsfaklsjdflkasjdfklaj;sdfkljI purchase this lamp with the hopes of being able to use it in my office at work. Unfortunately, the threaded knob to engage the "stop" on the lamp to position the lamp as intended does not function. I have to wedge the end of the lamp underneath a shelf in order to keep it in proper position. I'm bummed because I love the design and wish it would work. It's also missing the knob that goes on the switch. I'll be returning it to the store and trying again.

Classic and Stunning
As others have said I would recommend visiting the store in person to purchase, which is what I did. Sometimes these lamps are scratched or damaged even at the store! I found one in perfect shape with no issue at my local target, and it looks great on my new desk. The light put out by the frosted shade is soft but still enough light for office needs. Love the cream color! Adds more personality than just plain white.

Pick it out yourself - no drive up
I got this as a drive up order. I’m pretty sure they found the lamp in the worst condition to bring to me. It was all scratched up. The arm with the bulb part wouldn’t stay up. Maybe if you could see the lamps themselves in the store to choose one in better condition it would be ok. This was a return for me.

Never buy this if it has to be shipped to you!
I ordered two lamps. They shipped quickly and arrived fast. The problem is - these lamps are not shipped in a protective box. They were each placed in large individual boxes with one piece of paper for "protection". Both lamps arrived dented with each sticking out of their boxes!! They were returned.

Love it!
Love it! I painted my blue, but the original color was a nice neutral as well. It works perfect, has an adjustable mob for the angle, and a great additional for an office or living room area. Not sure what the poor reviews are for. It doesn’t fall over or move at all if you adjust the angle properly just like most task lamps.

Absolute junk
Came with the glass globe broken, was just rolling around in the box smashing against the lamp during shipping with no cushioning material. Kinda tightened then fell out if you poke the lamp. Target refunded me and said I can keep the lamp, so I'm trying to use it with no globe. Arm doesn't stay angled upwards and wants to sag downwards due to weight of the lamp. You can't really hand tighten the little knob enough to really get it to stay. However I found if you don't care about the paint you can put a pair of channel locks on the tightening knob and really crank it, and the lamp appears to stay in place after that. Overall this product is junk and not even worth keeping for free. I'm going to use it while I shop for other lamps then donate or throw it out.

Not great
The design is off balance so it tips over pretty easily. It also doesn’t rotate like you’d think a task lamp would. You can only adjust tilting up and down, but of course if it’s too far down, the whole thing tips over.
