A: Hi - yes, you can use this design with a wall dimmer switch. If you plan in using LED bulbs just make sure the bulbs are dimmable and that the dimmer is LED compatible. Thank you for the question.

Love this sconce! It's a little narrower than I expected but still looks great in our stairwell. I wanted it mounted vertically however my fiancé installed it horizontally and I liked it better. I think it lights the entire stairwell better. I wish the glass wasn't ribbed though. I think it would give off better even lighting of it were smooth. It replaced an already exciting fixture and only took about 30 minutes to install. Mostly because it was in a high stairwell and that got a little tricky.

These sconces look great on my great on my living room wall, a very modern look I just love them
