Muir Glen Organic Chunky Tomato & Herb Pasta Sauce - Case of 12/23.5 oz

Yes it was chunky sauce but the sauce seem a bit thinned out. Overall though, it tasted great on my pasta and I would recommend it and use it again.

We did like the fact it was a little thicker than other brands. We would be interested in using this sauce again.

It’s organic and has a great, robust, taste. I added fresh vegetables to it of course and made it a delight! Very delicious and I definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sauce is excellent for any traditional Italian or pasta dish that requires your basic red sauce- But this sauce is the least bit basic! We haven't had good Ole spaghetti in awhile so I decided to try this one out on a standard menu item with the family. I usually need to really spice up the sauce by adding herbs, spices, and other additional ingredients to make the flavor pop in other sauces (unless I make it from scratch). With this one, upon tasting, I was shocked that it didn't need much of anything at all! Well balanced with acidity and sweetness, a great depth of flavor. This is the sauce I'll keep in the pantry as the trusty "go-to". Recommend it!

After trying it it is a brand I will try to always have in my cupboard. It wasn't too acidy or anything. Even the kids liked it and they're very picky.

Flavors are traditional Italian with a heavy tomato presence like I like. I especially like that it has no added sugar so it fits well with my current low carbohydrate eating lifestyle. Sauce was still plenty sweetened enough for my liking. I like that the herb flavors clearly stood on their own and easily came through without being muddled. I enjoy sauces that still are chunky and this also fit nicely. Tomatoes are diced, are prevalent throughout, and provide good additional texture to my dishes. The dices are easy to see and they make the sauce even look fresher as picking them up and examining them show what looks like freshly picked and peeled, vine ripened tomatoes.

It is a little sweeter, so will not be too appealing if you are more of a savory sauce person. Love chunky sauces and this one is one! Highly recommend to anyone in a hurry and still wants a great tasting sauce for their pasta.

The spaghetti and sauce blended together perfectly, creating a mouth-watering taste. The spaghetti was perfectly al dente and the sauce coated each strand evenly. The aroma was amazing, and I was so excited to take my first bite. The spaghetti was so flavorful, and I loved the chunky texture of the sauce.
